There are small mysteries I think of like "How come abbreviation is such a long word?" and "Why is there no other word for "thesaurus"?" but none of these are plot worthy. However, there is one diabolical mystery entangled in a future vacation that demands book attention..."What if Disney World was a people trap operated by a vengeful mouse?"

I enjoy immersing myself in the subject matter, from in-depth research to overseas travel. Much to the dismay of my family, I often lock myself away in my office-dungeon while playing themed videos and music over, and over, and over again.

I'm excited to get out the next character in the Plenty Dreadful series. Here's the skinny...Death needs a vacation. There's only one catch. Who's going to do his job while he's out? The answer is simple. Death needs to hire an intern. So, with the help of his I.T. Guy, Jumbo, the two look for a qualified candidate. It doesn't take much to learn that their prospect, Buck Palasinski, could have what it takes. He's a Chicago hitman that's just been killed on the job. If they bring Buck back from death, he'll have a few weeks to prove that he has what it takes to be Death's right-hand man...that's if he can kill the Underworld's Public Enemy Number One, John Dillinger.

The Diaries of the Great Old One. Okay, maybe not. I've always been an admirer of Celtic Lore, and when I saw a chance to modernize their tales in the "Plenty Dreadful's" world, it was too good to be true. My wife and I traveled to Ireland and did a two week tour of the Emerald Isle. We went on tours, hiked in iconic fairy forests and heard stories from famous Irish folklorists known as Seanchaí.
