Hello to you and your lovely wife! There is so much I love about the world and characters of TEETH and BLOOD, but I have a special soft spot for Roan and Len. Len loves Zoey so very much, so much she would break the world for her. And Roan is so full of hurt and rage, she makes my heart sore in the best way. I hope you enjoy Blood on the Wind, lovelies!

So glad you liked it!! I plan a sequel, but it really depends on my publisher and whether readers enjoy the book enough for a sequel to be justified. But yes, I am dyyyying to give you guys the sequel!

(view spoiler)[In "The Dead House," who was talking to Kaitlyn in her diary entries? It can't have been the dead girl, and it probably wasn't Carly, so was it Dee? (hide spoiler)]
Dawn Kurtagich
It was indeed! But... who is Dee..? ;)

Hi Meredith,
Thank you! I'm delighted. My next novel, TEETH IN THE MIST, is out next year. It's a gothic story about three girls across three generations affected by one man who made a deal with the devil centuries before. It's up on goodreads now :-)

Hi Emily,
Naida is pronounced "Nay-da".

Thank you! I'm honoured. For me, writing with different forms is the most interesting part of a new story. The way a story is told is important—if you tell a ghost story from the perspective of the ghost, it will be very different than from the perspective of the person being haunted. And if you told the same ghost story from the perspective of the ghost, but the ghost could only sing in poetry, then that would be even more different. I like to think about what would mystify me the most. What would haunt me the most. And then I fall into the story and I don't come up for much air! :-D

Absolutely! Writing is a passion and a compulsions and I've got many more stories to tell. My next novel, TEETH IN THE MIST, comes out next year :-)
Dawn Kurtagich
Yes indeed! UK and US titles.

I get it from everywhere! But if I'm not feeling very inspired, I tend to seek inspiration out in nature :)

Hi QueenLevena! Thank you so much! The book was inspired by quite a few things that were going on in my life around that time. I talk about it on a KidCast podcast interview over on Publisher's Weekly, if you feel like having a listen. I think I'd like to post a video about exactly that over on my YouTube channel (WritaholicDK). There is a novella coming out in October called "NAIDA". It follows the story of what happened to Naida right after the end of The Dead House. :)

I'd say that my books are generally crossover novels. I think old and young can enjoy alike! :D

Thank you so much, Muriel! You're lovely! In fact, I think that the goodreads giveaway for And The Trees Crept In is still listed by my publishers. They're giving away 5 copies. If you head to the goodreads page for ATTCI, it should be there. I so hope you enter! :D

Hi Vanessa! Thank you so much for writing to me :)
The storyline for The Dead House came out of a period of time when I was quite sick, and I talk about it on the interview I did on Publisher's Weekly (the podcast) as well as on my YouTube channel (WritaholicDK), although I'll be making a video specifically about this very soon).
As for what makes mine different, I always prefer to leave that up to the readers. After all, it's your book now! <3

Hi Victoria,
Well, I can tell you that it is a "Horror Romance" and that it is quite Gothic and Surreal in feeling. The UK edition is titled THE CREEPER MAN, and the US edition is titled AND THE WOODS CREPT IN. Both are now listed here on Goodreads!
