Bliss Devlin Hi again, Louisa! Sorry for the confusion about the Amestra brothers.
Gilles is the oldest brother, born in the 1200s. After he was born, Ianthe and Jadikira went on to have a few more children over the centuries. (I mentioned this briefly in one of the books, but didn't really pin down the details because I wanted to leave things open for future stories set in this universe.)

Michael, Gabriel, and Rafael are Ianthe & Jadikira's youngest children. They were all born in the 1880s - 1890s, a good 600+ years after their older brother Gilles. Not surprisingly, they don't have a lot of contact with their older siblings, who were grown up and were leading their own lives for hundreds of years before the three youngest boys came along.

Hope that helps to clear things up!
Warmest regards,
Bliss
Bliss Devlin Hi Louisa!
Yes, Michael and Gilles are brothers (though separated by 800 years or so). They are the sons of Ianthe and Jadikira Amestra.

TAMED BY THE INCUBUS is currently the latest book, chronologically, in the series. I have one more book planned in this series, LOVED BY THE INCUBUS, which will be Rafe's story, but unfortunately Life Stuff has put a serious dent into my writing time and I'm still working on LOVED BY THE INCUBUS.

Thanks so much for reading!
Bliss Devlin Hi, Louisa!
Thanks for writing me! I'm happy to report that the complete Children of Lilith series is available in Kindle and other ebook reader formats from most major ebook retailers. (There is one more book planned in this series, but I don't have a release date yet.)

Bliss Devlin Hi Robyn!
Thanks so much for your note! I've really been having a tough time finding time to write with my new job (which I like, but OMG the commute!).

However, I just finished writing Mark Aquila's story, HER ROMAN WOLF. As a matter of fact, it just went live on Amazon an hour ago! It should be available via Kindle Unlimited in the next day or so...

Hope you have a happy Independence Day (or Canada Day)!
warmest regards,

Bliss Devlin I'm currently working on two novels:

1. HER INCUBUS KNIGHT, a historical Children of Lilith novel set in the south of France in the 13th century featuring an idealistic incubus who desperately wants to be a knight, a beautiful leopard shifter maiden, and an extremely grumpy werewolf;

2. SUBMITTING TO THE INCUBUS, a prequel to TAMED BY THE INCUBUS, set at a modern-day software startup and featuring Michael Amestra, the older brother of Gabriel, who was the hero of TAMED BY THE INCUBUS.
Bliss Devlin The two most important pieces of advice I received when I was starting out were:

1. Put your butt in your chair and finish your stories. The first three chapters are usually the easiest, written in a rush of inspiration, but you need discipline and good work habits for a writing career.

2. Give yourself permission to write a crappy first draft. (Anne Lamott's advice in BIRD BY BIRD.) Seriously. Make an agreement with yourself that no one will ever see your crappy first draft. Edit the hell out of your crappy first draft, so that what the world sees is a polished, interesting piece of writing. The crappy first draft is the ore from which you can mine writing gold.
Bliss Devlin For temporary blocks, I can usually get myself unstuck by either going for a long walk, or doing jigsaw puzzles (though the walks are probably better for me!) Doing something fairly mindless keeps my mental editor occupied, and leaves my creative imagination free to wander.

For more serious blocks, that's usually a sign that I've taken the wrong tack with a story. Sometimes it means that I've gotten a character's motivations wrong, and sometimes it's a plot or logic issue that my subconscious has recognized.
