Hi Danny. First, so glad to hear you want to start your own book. Best of luck! I have lots of advice but for getting started, I think the most important thing is that you write about something that excites you. Don't worry about trends, or about who's going to read the book, etc. Write something that speaks to you. After all, you'll be spending a lot of time in that world, so you want it to be a place that intrigues you.

Hi Marlee. By now you've probably figured this out, but just in case, the 2nd book is Kiss and Spell. The 3rd book just came out, A Semi-Charming Life and I'm working on one about Faybelle Thorn. :)

Shannon and I both base our stories on characters created by Mattel. But we have some freedom to play around in Mattel's world. Since Shannon wrote her books before me, I need to refer to them often to make sure there is continuity. It can be a very confusing process. :)
