Adri Sinclair This is annoying!I did answer you lovely, so sorry. YES you CAN set up a Author's profile - shout if you need help with it!
Adri Sinclair I can indulge in my every whim, without feeling guilty - then, I can lure others to do the same and nobody is going to tell me I'm a bad influence!

Seriously - it keeps depression at bay. It is as simple as that for me.
Adri Sinclair I have not had to deal with writer's block yet. I think it is because I make sure to write and read something every day. A line written is better than a blank page, right?

There are days where I struggle to get into my writing - those are the days I simply sit back and read something, or watch a movie, or listen to Spoken Poetry [Poetry Slams]. I also read with a pencil, and jot down words that triggers certain thoughts in my head. Those words I'll type out afterwards - along with the thoughts.

I have a lot of 'randomly' written stuff, but that keeps the momentum for me.
Adri Sinclair Write. Just write. It does not matter if it is good or bad, or if you hate it or love it. Write it. If you think about it, do it. In one of my books, Momma tells Carmina: "Don't put off for tomorrow, what you can do right now."
The other thing is?
Don't compare yourself. Don't think you are better, don't think you are worse. Switch off to measuring meters in your brain, and get on with what you need to do for you.
And go read what Stephen King had to say about writing. You will be amazed!
Adri Sinclair Book six in the Second breath Chronicles... "Completing Carmina." It is by far the most difficult to write at the moment, as there are very high expectations after the [already published] first three - with book four and five having gained high praise from beta readers too. The thing about having a core group of readers, is in the fact that they need you to keep raising the bar!
Adri Sinclair This is such a hard question for me to answer, but let me try to explain: I try to look at the world and events in a positive manner. The more positivity there is around me, the more inspired I am to write. I think anything one deems negative [personally] can serve as a distraction. We get bogged down with measurements too... I try not to compete, but complete.
Adri Sinclair "Releasing Carmina" is a follow-on from the first two books "Hidden Carmina" and "Carmina Revealed."
As it turns out, what started as a possible Fan-Fic turned into "The Second Breath Chronicles." I have a thing for romance and supernatural, magic... and vampires.
