I'll be publishing the final book in my other series (Breenan) in May 2018, and after that it will be full steam ahead on Merlin 3. I had originally planned on a May 2019 release for Merlin 3, but it's already half-done so it might be out by Christmas 2018. Here's hoping!

Thanks for asking! I'm so glad you're enjoying Mark of the Breenan. I am
currently writing #2, and am over halfway done. My goal is to release it for Christmas 2015. I know how agonising it can be to wait for an author to hurry up and finish their books (I'm looking at you, Patrick Rothfuss and George R.R. Martin!), so I'll do my best to meet my goal. In the meantime, you might like my newest novel coming out on May 30th. It's an adult urban fantasy called Ignition.
Happy reading, and check back for Breenan updates! You can also sign up for my newsletter on my website emmashelford.com, where I send out (infrequent) mailings to let readers know about upcoming releases.

Book 2 of the Breenan Series, of course! I also have an adult contemporary fantasy novel in the works which I'm very excited about. I'd like to get both of them out in 2015. Here's hoping!

If I have writer's block, to me it just means I haven't planned out my story in enough detail. So I go back to my story outline and flesh it out more. Usually I will find a detail that I haven't thought about deeply enough, and it was the thing that was hampering me subconsciously. Once the detail is figured out and dealt with, writing resumes easily.

So far, I haven't needed inspiration--I just really love to write! It's something I look forward to. I get invested in my characters and where they're going next, and I want to take them there as quickly as possible.
