Sloane B. Collins The inspiration for LOVE REDESIGNED came when I met a French designer a couple of years ago. He started speaking in that delicious French accent, and I knew I had to write about a Frenchman.

It took some time to figure out the story – I had to find him the right heroine, after all. Since my hero is French, I began researching France to find out where he’d been borne. Once I started looking at pictures of France, I knew the story must be set there. And honestly, it’s a country that wasn’t on my list to visit…now I’m dying to get there!
Sloane B. Collins Music plays a big part of getting me in the mood to write whatever I'm working on. So for now, I'm back to French songs. I have an Irish witch book in the works, so for that, I listen to anything Irish.

I'm a very visual person, so Pinterest is also a big help to picture settings.
Sloane B. Collins Book two in my French Kiss Connection series. I'm revisiting the Gaillard Chateau and Winery, and most of the people from "Love Redesigned" will be in this book as well. The heroine of book two is working on her certification to be an International Sommelier, and the hero is an American baseball star.
Sloane B. Collins Write every day. Jot down any and all ideas you have, then get your butt in chair, fingers on keyboard...but then you have to get those fingers moving!
Sloane B. Collins Visiting places I've either never been or fell in love with. And getting to write the stories for the characters who are clamoring to be heard!
