Cover reveal for The Landscaper’s Christmas!

I’m so excited! I have a cover for my next book, The Landscaper’s Christmas.

The Landscaper's Christmas

This is book five in The Landscaper Series. Book four, Landscaper in Paradise, had a happily ever after…but Kyle, Tracy and Eric kept talking to me. I kept wondering what their life would be like a couple years later, and this Christmas story came to me.
I don’t have a release date yet, but I’m NOT holding this book until Christmas time. I want you to enjoy it as soon as it’s complete. Watch this space, and sign up for my newsletter for a release date! Add The Landscaper’s Christmas to your Goodreads list.

Another snowpocalypse!

Another snow storm on the East Coast. It’s March in New England…time for Mother Nature to throw one last big storm our way. This has been the longest winter ever.
I’m still working on my new Landscaper book. I know it’s taking a while, but I promise it’ll be worth it. It’s my longest book ever, so it’s taking a long time to revise and edit. Watch this space for a new cover!
In the meantime, I hope my power stays on so I can keep writing on my laptop. I don’t do well with writing on paper. I used to write on paper ages ago, but using a computer just seems faster, and it makes editing easier.

Autocorrect is funny…

My writing software cracks me up. When I write slang or certain sexy words, the suggested corrections are hilarious:
cockblocked: chocablock, clocklike
lickable: clickable, likeable

Ahhh: Ash, Ahu, HashOoh: Pooh, Oath, Ouchspasmed: spammed, splashed, spumed
Back to work!

The Carpenter – Now Available on Nook, Kobo and iBooks

My M/M standalone The Carpenter is now available on Nook, Kobo, and iBooks as well as Amazon. Snuggle up with sexy couple Adam and Grant while they survive a blizzard…something many of us the US can relate to right now! Brrrrr.

The Carpenter

Grant retreats to a cabin in the woods during a blizzard to escape the sadness of a recent breakup. When he hears a knock, he’s stunned to see his ex-boyfriend, Adam.
The men can’t deny their feverish attraction, but old hurts surface. Grant wants a family, but Adam can’t imagine being a father. Can the men have the future they always planned, or will this weekend be their final goodbye?
I love second chance stories, and this one is a short but heartfelt story of trying to make a relationship work. – Rhonda, Goodreads

Set a date with my editor…eek!

I set a date with my editor for first round edits on my current book. Late February, but it’s a date!
This book is making me so freaking nervous for a few reasons:

It’s my longest book to date: it’ll be over 50,000 words

It’s book 5 in a series that was supposed to be over in book 4…

I’m pushing myself harder than ever as a writer

It’s a Christmas book that will be published in late winter/early spring

I can’t wait for you to read The Landscaper’s Christmas. I’m working on getting a cover made. Watch here for a cover reveal!

Looking for reviewers for Toy With Me

I have an opportunity for my standalone M/F novella Toy With Me, and I was wondering if you could help. Have you read Toy With Me, or would you like to? I’m looking to add to my reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads for this book. Short reviews are fine, just let people know what you think! I’ll send you a little treat as a thank you.

Greg loves coming home after long days swinging a hammer to relax with Anna, his wife of twenty years. He’s planning a romantic weekend away to help reconnect with her before their nest empties.Anna is busy growing her photography business and helping their twin boys prepare for college. When she lands a plum client, Greg reluctantly reschedules the getaway. Sexy time is limited these days, and one lovemaking session seems just like the next…
Until Greg buys a set of sex toys and introduces Anna to a whole new world of pleasure. Can Greg whisk Anna away for a sexy weekend to remind them of the close couple they used to be?
This is an 18,000 word standalone novella featuring a married couple and a Happily Ever After.

The hardest part of writing (for me)

I’m working on the Black Moment in my current WIP….the moment where you think “How is this going to work? Will love find a way?”
I hate being “mean” to my characters, so naturally I stopped and vacuumed the house and went through some paper files for shredding.
ANYTHING but the black moment!

Eventually it all works out. If you’re new to me, check out my list of books here…proof I’ve worked out Black Moments in my past books. ❤

I hit 50,000 words on The Landscaper’s Christmas!

Woo hoo! I finally hit 50,000 words in my current draft! (So much for a short story!) It took a while because I was writing, revising and deleting sections, so for a time, the word count didn’t move much.
It’s getting there! This is my longest book so far. Trying to get this draft finished around New Year’s, in between Christmas celebrations.
