New Swag! aka, Getting Ready for Nashville...
I'm heading to UTOPIA Con {June 22-24} in Nashville. {Anyone around? Come!} I'm looking forward to it, and plan to meet a lot of great people and have fun conversations. I've designed some fresh swag and am finally getting a few things in my shop in preparation! I have buttons from THE Q and THE BOOKS OF IMIRILLIA, and I'm also trying to have some t-shirts, and other fun paraphernalia in my website store within the next few days for all my books! I also have a set of designs that I will be...

WHAT HAPPENS IN ZARBADAST...
It's May! A beautiful month that always makes me want to wander. It's a month made for reading, for fresh places under our feet and new books in our hands. It is a month blessed by the spirit of adventure and possibility. So, to celebrate, all my books for the Kindle are on sale! Journey with The Books of Imirillia, or saunter along the streets of Rhysdon with The Q. Happy reading!

QUINCY ST. CLAIRE THANKS YOU

It's been a great couple of days since the release of The Q, and the book is beginning to find its way to readers!I know the characters are relieved to be out and about, able to stretch their legs and walk the city of Rhysdon. Quincy St. Claire says thank you for your support. Or, rather, she would. If she were not busy at the moment. Never fear. Her solicitor, James Arch, will certainly send you a beautifully scripted thank you note in a charcoal grey envelope. He might even be able to say...

It's passion, energy, and unparalleled expectations make it a natural gathering place for the entire strata of the city of Rhysdon. That translates to the readers, too. Hopefully everyone finds something to love, someone to cheer o...

Video of THE SCHOLAR illustration
In anticipation of The Wanderer's Mark, I wanted to do a few more illustrations from the first two books. Here, in this scene from The Queen's Gambit,Eleanor is studying the Imirillian scrolls.

And below is the illustration video that I posted on my fledgling youtube channel. I have the best time deciding which techno music will be on it. There are many laughs as I sit here by myself.
Hope you enjoyed!
Cheers,
Beth

Video of HOLD YOUR GROUND illustration, A.K.A., Ten Days Until It All Falls Apart
I'm trying to do more art. Specifically, more book/character/setting related art. It's nothing grand. I am a writer who likes to practice with different art mediums. But I want to create a small portfolio of images that tie back into the worlds of my books. Last night, thinking about The Wanderer's Mark, I drew up this moment I call Hold Your Ground. This exact scene never happens in the book, but it is the feeling of so many difficulties. It's a rough rendition of Basaal. Not necessarily THE...
