Coming Soon! A Summer Beach Read from…Alaska??? (#SPeekSunday @MFRW_ORG @book_tribe )

Sneak Peek Sunday Banner

Every once in a while my digital  publisher, Ellora’s Cave, releases a book in hardcopy form. Coming on Friday is a fave of mine, Seducing the Hermit.
What’s it about, you ask?
Deejay Valerie Percy rejects the phony life she’s led in L.A. and travels to remote Takinsha Island, Alaska, determined to start over. She’s looking for a fuck buddy, an accessory she considers more important than mascara. She wants a warm, outgoing man to laugh with her, hang out with her and shag her silly. She doesn’t think she’ll encounter any difficulty in Alaska, where the odds of men to women are twenty to one. But as the locals say, the odds are good, but the goods are…odd.
Valerie falls for Fisher Chugatt, a loner who doesn’t do relationships. But Cupid has other plans for this couple, and so does Valerie. She doesn’t waste any time seducing Fisher. Sex in the shower, hummers on the couch and a spectacular encounter beneath the northern lights seal the deal in Valerie’s mind. Having fallen in love, she wants it all—home, husband, babies. But shadows from his past may prevent Fisher from committing to anyone…Valerie included.

Seducing the Hermit by Suz deMello

And here’s the sneak peek–designed for those who enjoy a little humor with their sexy stuff :)
The ferry bumped against the dock, and she went below to get into her faithful V.W. bug and drive it off the boat. Packed with her belongings, Old Faithful had somehow crawled from Los Angeles all the way to Bellingham, Washington, where Valerie had boarded the Alaska Marine Highway, the ferry system to Takinsha.
She crammed herself into the small car, crowded with boxes and bags. Digging the key out of her purse, she started O.F. and slowly drove out, rolling and clattering over the ferry’s metal bib. When she emerged into the thin sunshine illuminating the dock, a box slipped from the top of the stack in the front seat. It fell, jamming the brake. “Shit!” She pumped furiously at the pedal, but O.F. kept rolling along the crowded dock.
Dammit, she couldn’t stop her car. Images flashed by her panicked eyes. Tourists jumping out of her way, cameras swinging like misshapen pendulums. Fishermen swearing as they dodged O.F. The crunch of crab pots and assorted other gear she couldn’t identify, not when it was being crushed beneath Old Faithful’s tires.
The tall, dark hottie she’d seen from the ferry turned, his eyes widening. Just before the bug rolled into him, he leaped onto the hood of her car, shouting, “Jesus fucking Christ!”
Scrabbling for a grip, he grabbed a wiper. It broke off in his hand. Swatches of angry red flagged the hunk’s furious face. He spread his hands on the window, plastering himself along it as best he could, bending his knees onto the hood so he wouldn’t lose a leg.
“Shit, shit, shit!” Screeching with dismay, Valerie dug her hand between two boxes to grab the brake below. Something snapped, probably one of her acrylic fingernails. She didn’t care. Thankfully, the car had stopped before it could inflict much more damage to the truck and dock, to say nothing of the hottie.

A Sadistic Spanking from 18th Century Scotland (@MFRW_ORG #BDSM #SatSpanks

Saturday Spankings-467x200

Over the top or not?
You be the judge.

This punishment scene proved to be more than a lot of my readers could handle, and I adjusted the next books in the series accordingly. But the 18th century was a brutal time and I felt that the scene was realistic.

But first–here’s what the book is about:

#1 ARE bestseller featuring Kieran Kilburn

#1 ARE bestseller featuring Kieran Kilburn

Temptation in Tartan by Suz deMello

Setting: Scotland, 1747

She had to marry a monster…

Rumors had followed the chieftains of Clan Kilborn for centuries. Said to be descended from the Viking Berserkers, they were ferocious in battle, known for tearing off the heads of their enemies and drinking their blood.

But English noblewoman Lydia Swann Williston would marry Kieran, Laird Kilborn, to bring peace to the Kilborn lands after the horror of Culloden and the brutal pacification. A widow, she also brought needed wealth to Clan Kilborn. For her part, eighteen-year-old Lydia wanted children. With her husband killed at Culloden, she would make a new life in the Highlands.

The old chieftain of Clan Kilborn also died in battle, and she hoped that the new young Laird would lack his ancestors’ ferocity.

She was wrong.

****

Published by Ellora’s Cave in June 2012, Temptation in Tartan reached #1 on the All Romance Ebooks bestseller list for historical (other) romance and spent a full week in the top five.

And here’s the spanking–or part of it. This punishment was…strong, though not severe.

Keir bound Lydia’s arms behind her with the leather strop. “Now,” he said, panting from exertion. “Now.”

He opened his trews before pulling her onto his lap and began spanking her with his gloved hand. With each blow she wriggled against his wickedly hard cock, hoping to push her pearl against him to get some sort of relief. For she was beyond aroused now, writhing with the fused rapture and torment he inflicted.

He shifted his attention from the fullest rounds of her buttocks to the curve where they met her thighs, a sensitive area he’d not previously touched.

“Noooooo…” She moaned, unsure if she could take any more.

His rod swelled beneath her, prodding her cunt. “Yes.”

Dream deeply with James DiBenedetto’s “Dream” series

What if you could see everyone else’s dreams?

That’s the question Sara has to wrestle with in the Dream Series.  We first meet her as a shy, bookish college student who doesn’t think there’s anything extraordinary about herself.  And then the dreams start…

Over the course of the series, Sara learns to live with these supernatural dreams and all the trouble they plunge her into.  At the same time, she grows from a student to a practicing doctor, from a single girl to a wife and mother.  But every time she thinks she’s got everything figured out, life – and her extraordinary dreams – teach her that she’s always got more to learn…

Dream Student (Book 1)

What would you do if you could see other people’s dreams?  If you could watch their hidden fantasies and uncover their deepest, darkest secrets…without them ever knowing?

Sara Barnes is about to find out.  She thought that all she had to worry about was final exams, Christmas shopping and deciding whether she likes the cute freshman in the next dorm who’s got a crush on her.

But when she starts seeing dreams that aren’t hers, she learns more than she ever wanted to know about her friends, her classmates…and a strange, terrifying man whose dreams could get Sara killed.

“Dream Student” is the thrilling first installment of the Dreams series.

Dream Doctor (Book 2)

“I didn’t expect to be woken up by someone I don’t know dreaming about killing somebody.  I thought I was done with that once and for all…”

But Sara’s not done with it.  As if adjusting to life as a newlywed and starting medical school weren’t difficult enough, she’s started seeing the dreams of everyone around her, again.  Before everything is said and done, those dreams might destroy Sara’s hopes of becoming a doctor, wreck her marriage and even end her life…

“Dream Doctor” is the thrilling second novel in the Dreams series.

Amazon (Kindle or Paperback)

Amazon (audiobook)

Dream Child (Book 3)

“I would give anything to take this away from her.  I would gladly go back to having the nightmares myself – the very worst ones, the ones that had me waking up screaming in a pool of my own vomit – rather than see Lizzie go through this…”

As a resident at Children’s Hospital, Sara can handle ninety hour workweeks, fighting to save her young patients from deadly childhood diseases.  But she’s about to be faced with a challenge that all her training and experience haven’t prepared her for: her four-year-old daughter has inherited her ability to see other people’s dreams…

“Dream Child” is the suspenseful third novel in the “Dreams” series.

Dream Family (Book 4)

“Why is this so hard for me?  Why am I having so much trouble?  Why do I feel so helpless, so hopeless?  What the hell is wrong with me?”

After tangling with murders and mobsters, not to mention medical school and three years of residency, Sara thought she could handle anything.  And then the police show up without warning at her new office and arrest her for a crime she can’t possibly have committed.  Sara’s confidence, and her grip on reality, is shattered during one terrifying night in jail.

Now, the very dreams that have endangered her life and driven her to the edge of madness may be the only thing that can help Sara find herself again…

“Dream Family” is the powerful fourth novel in the “Dreams” series.

Waking Dream (Book 5)

“Oh, God!   We can hurt each other.  Whatever we do to each other in the dream, we’ll do it to ourselves for real…”

When her own dreams are visited by a mysterious woman in a red dress, Sara realizes she has something she never expected: a counterpart, someone outside her family who shares her talent to see other people’s dreams.

When the woman in red keeps showing up in other dreams as well, leaving ruined lives in her wake, Sara knows she has something she never imagined: a nemesis.

Now, Sara must track the woman in red down in the waking world, before she’s forced to fight for her life in her dreams…

“Waking Dream” is the exciting fifth novel in the “Dreams” series.

Dream Reunion (Book 6)

“I wish someone – my mother, my husband, anybody – would really let me have it, instead of telling me everything’s not my fault when it obviously is…”

Sara’s seen the cost of interfering in other people’s dreams firsthand; it’s measured in ruined lives and cemetery plots.

When her supernatural dreams start up again, Sara is faced with problem after problem. And the only solution she can see is the one she’s sworn never to attempt – changing the minds of the dreamers from the inside-out.

Sara thought that fighting against serial killers, mobsters and crooked politicians was difficult, but she’s about to come up against the most difficult foe she’s ever faced: her own conscience.

Dream Reunion is the emotional sixth book in the Dream Series.

What if you could see everyone else’s dreams?

Sara Barnes has just discovered that she can.  And this gift – or curse – will lead her on an extraordinary journey.

Follow Sara as her newfound ability leads her into adventures she never imagined.  She will hunt down a serial killer, investigate a plot to murder one of her teachers, unravel a conspiracy between a mobster and a corrupt politician and face off against her nemesis: a woman who shares her talent, but uses it to destroy lives rather than save them.  And Sara will have to manage all that while finishing college, becoming a doctor and falling in love, too.

Here are the first five books of the Dream Series, along with bonus material created especially for this collection.  Included in this set are DREAM STUDENT, DREAM DOCTOR, DREAM CHILD, DREAM FAMILY and WAKING DREAM.  In addition, you’ll find the short story BETTY & HOWARD’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE starring Sara’s parents.  But most of all, when you open this box of dreams, you’ll find romance, suspense, humor and plenty of heart…

Blurb for Dream Home (book 7 in the Dream Series)

“Oh, my God, I’m not even starting the job for four months!  How can I have an enemy already?”

Sara thought she had found the perfect job, the perfect new house and the perfect place to build a bright future for herself and her family.

But her new life is not quite perfect.  Her husband and her children are fitting right in, but before Sara even shows up for her first day of work, her coworkers are dreaming about getting rid of her.

If that weren’t bad enough, the one friend she’s made is dreaming nightly about a disaster that could wipe out the entire town…and Sara is beginning to think he might be right…

Dream Home is the exciting seventh book in the Dream Series.

Excerpt from Book 5:

Sure enough, when I poke my head into Lizzie’s room to say goodnight, she’s got a question.  “Mom, do you think Peter Ralston likes me?”

I pull the door shut and sit on her bed; there’s really nowhere else to sit.  Lizzie volunteered to take this bedroom because it’s got the biggest window, the best view and plenty of warm afternoon sun.  But what it doesn’t have is space: it’s by far the smallest of the bedrooms.

How do I answer her?  She’s just going to turn eleven next month, and on the one hand, that’s too young to even be thinking about this.  But with Grace going boy-crazy, it’s only natural for Lizzie to start being interested in boys early, I guess.  To buy myself some more time to think, I fall back on the age-old tradition of answering a question with a question.  “I think the important thing to ask is, do you like him?”

She wasn’t expecting that, and she’s silent for a little while, mulling it over.  She’s got the covers pulled up to her neck; only her head is peeking out from under her Little Mermaid sheets.  She’s just a little girl, my baby.

But beneath those sheets is a budding young woman who’s already nearly as tall as I am.  In a year, two at the most, she’ll have a bigger chest than I do – not that that’s saying much.  And, she’s wearing her hair short in imitation of what’s-her-name, the dark-haired woman in “The Matrix.”  Which, by the way, I still haven’t quite forgiven my brother for letting Lizzie watch, three months ago.  I suppose I should be grateful Lizzie’s only copied the character’s hair and not her leather pants.

“I don’t know,” Lizzie says, finally.  “He draws really well.  You should see what he does in art class.  He’s almost as good as I am.”  That’s my girl!  “And it’s nice the way he likes dogs.  He doesn’t just help out because it’s his Mom’s shop, he really enjoys it.  But,” she frowns a bit, “he is kind of clumsy.  And he doesn’t wash his hair very often.  You saw how yucky it looked today.”  I don’t recall that, but I’ll take her word for it.  “And, anyway, if he likes me, he ought to just say so.  Right, Mom?”

I laugh; there’s really no other response to that.  Then I lie down on the bed so that my head is right next to hers.  “Well, I’ll tell you something, honey.  What boys ought to do, and what they actually do, are two different things.”

A Sexy Scottish Dungeon Crawl (@MFRW_ORG, #dungeoncrawl #BDSM)

Dungeon Crawl 18 C style

Do you dare to open the dungeon's door?

Do you dare to open the dungeon’s door?

For your dark delight I present to you a scene that was hard for a lot of my readers to take. Can you handle punishment, 18th Century Scottish Style? The Highlands were a brutal place and customs were not as civilized as they are now.

In this scene from Temptation in Tartan, two women of Clan Kilburn have been very naughty indeed, and are receiving their just desserts.

Kicking the door closed, he flung her onto the bed. She landed in a dizzying tumble of skirts, but before she could compose herself, he’d seized her arms and pulled her upright.

“Take off yer clothes.”

She stared at him.

“Take off every stitch or I’ll cut ‘em off ye.” He pulled a small knife from his boot. The sharp silver blade glinted.

Her head spinning, she thought she’d faint but managed to remain upright. She tugged off her gloves and, with quivering hands, fumbled at the laces of her bodice. He leaned against the bedpost, watching her with cold onyx eyes, the eyes of an angry stranger, the same stranger who’d killed the MacReiver.

Her fingers simply couldn’t work the ties and she watched, frozen stiff in place, as Kier stepped toward her, his knife gleaming.

#1 ARE bestseller featuring Kieran Kilburn

#1 ARE bestseller featuring Kieran Kilburn

The tip raised toward her chin, then came down, decisively ripping through the laces. Her bodice opened, revealing her stays.

“Lydia.” His tone carried warning.

She tried again. The stays proved to be even more difficult.

Another slash of that wicked knife, and another. The stays, cut at each shoulder, dropped to her hips. He ripped them off her.

She stood in her shift, knees weak, but with every muscle alert and tight.

“Lydia…” His voice was hard, hard as the member thrusting against the front of his trews.

Hard as her nipples had become in the cool air.

She was not aroused. She couldn’t be! Yet, a telltale stickiness gummed her thighs together.

Her limp fingers strayed to the ribbon tying the neck of her chemise. She fumbled at it. Her hands dropped. The shining knife’s tip winked a moment before Kieran set it into the shift at its top. He cut it off her, the knife sliding through the thin pink silk with a hiss.

She stood before him naked but for her garters, stockings and boots.

He threw the knife and it thwacked into the wooden bedpost. Boneless, she dropped onto the bed.

“Take off yer shoon.”

When she was done, he hauled her to her stockinged feet and, turning her away, tethered her wrists to the upper rail of their bed.

She was stretched high, her toes barely touching the floor, her knees bumping their mattress. Horribly exposed, yes, but her lifted breasts ached for his touch. He ran a gloved hand down her quivering body, and she moaned from the pleasure of it, anticipating relief regardless of his threatening mien.

He pinched her nipple, searched between her legs. He caressed the moisture there, and she pushed against him. When he pulled away, she groaned in protest.

This was not so different from the twists and turns that their lovemaking occasionally took…had he forgotten her punishment? She allowed herself to relax, closing her eyes and tipping her head back, enjoying the sweep of her long hair against her naked back.

His gloved hand swatted her exposed buttocks, fierce as a whip. The shock of it sank into her a moment before the burn began. Shock and sizzle… Though he’d spanked her rear before, she realized he’d been holding back.

“Ye understand why I must do this, don’t ye?” His fingers roved across her stinging bottom, delved into her crack, circled her rosette.

Swallowing her gasp, she said, “Yes, I do. But…”

“But what?” Each word was punctuated by a slap.

She squirmed.  “Your power as laird…what of mine as your, as your…?” What was she? Lady Laird? Lairdess? Surely not.

“Lydia, look at me.” Holding her hips, he turned her around. Gone was the stranger. Kieran, her husband, had returned and he spoke with authority. “Your influence as my wife and consort willna be diminished. I promise ye, any man or woman who disobeys ye risks the pillory or worse. See here.”

He untied her and wrapped a plaid around her naked body, then urged her to through the door. “Get ye gone,” he snapped to a group of the curious who’d clustered outside in their hall. They scattered.

He took her to the window opposite, which overlooked the courtyard, and stood behind her so she could see. He leaned against her, forcing her forward over the deep embrasure. His cock pressed against her tender bottom cheeks. She wanted to be worthy of her birth and rank, but was quivering from a strange brew of dread and desire.

His orders had been obeyed, and Moira was bent over a barrel with her arms and head locked in the pillory. Her skirts were rucked up around her waist, with her naked buttocks exposed. They were already red with weals, with five distinct welts marking each thigh, as Kier had demanded.

Here’s what the book is about:

She had to marry a monster…

Rumors had followed the chieftains of Clan Kilborn for centuries. Said to be descended from the Viking Berserkers, they were ferocious in battle, known for tearing off the heads of their enemies and drinking their blood.

Blurb:

She wanted him. Her sister married him.

Tara Thornton hasn’t spoken to her sister in two years, ever since Azure married the man of Tara’s dreams. Tired of the rift, Azure invites her to take a Mediterranean cruise on a friend’s yacht and, bowing to family pressure, Tara accepts.

Forced to be in close proximity with the man she still desires, Tara is thrown into confusion. The presence of celebrity theme park owner Liam Wilder and the reality of his marriage to Azure send Tara into a tailspin and, in an attempt to regain control, she responds to the advances of hot fellow guest Ryan Hyde, while determined to feel no affection for him.

But Ryan has a way of getting under her skin, and Tara’s plan to get closer to Liam is rapidly losing its importance as Ryan begins to break down her defences. Can she let go of Liam, let Ryan into her heart…and tell Azure the real reason for her silence?

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of spanking and light BDSM.

Excerpt:

“Do you dance?” came Ryan’s voice from behind her.

Tara turned back to face him, flicking her hair out of her face in what she hoped was a casual gesture. “Yeah, I dance.”

“Want to?”

What the hell. Made reckless with nerves, Tara threw him a coquettish smile. “Sure. Just give me a minute. I need to ask Azure something.”

Ryan made a sweeping motion with his arm. “Go right ahead. I’ll be here.”

Fighting every impulse to run, Tara forced herself to cross the dining room to Azure’s table. Azure looked up in time to see her coming, her eyes widening to add a slightly venomous tinge to her social smile.

Maybe that meant that she hadn’t told Liam yet. Tara stopped at their table.

“Could I talk to you for a minute, Azure?”

Azure tilted her head to one side in an innocent movement that didn’t fool Tara for one minute. “What about?”

Gah. “I want to apologise.”

The smile disappeared from Azure’s face. She turned to Liam, who had leantforward, his face concerned. “I’ll be back in a minute.”

Well, it was something. Tara followed her sister’s curved, satin-clad figure between the tables and out into the corridor, where Azure spun round and fixed her with an icy glare.

“What do you want really?

Tara sighed. “To apologise.Really.”

Azure folded her arms, not dropping her gaze.

“Look, what I said earlier—it was wrong of me. And you were right. It’s been a long time. And I really don’t know anything about you now, or about Liam.”

Azure still looked angry, but she unbent enough to give Tara a slow nod.

“I’d like to make up for that.”

A long pause, during which Azure scrutinised her with her head on one side, apparently deep in thought. Finally she gave another nod.

“All right. I’ll talk to Liam. We’re docking offshore at Lloret de Mar tomorrow and going swimming. If he’s okay with it, we’ll pick you and Kiki up after breakfast.”

“All right.” A wave of relief flooded Tara’s stomach.

Without another word, Azure pushed open the door to the dining room and disappeared through it, leaving Tara to follow.

Ryan was standing at the side of the dancefloor when Tara joined him.

“Finished talking?”

“Finished talking.” Tara lifted her head and cast him a bold look, holding out her hand. “Let’s dance.”

With a raised eyebrow, Ryan took her hand and together they walked onto the dancefloor.

Tara knew she was a good dancer. She’d been to enough military events to know how to move without embarrassing herself—and to enough nightclubs during leave to know how to rock her hips and undulate her body in a way that drew the eye.

Whether that would work with Ryan was another thing entirely, but hell, he was a man. As Tara turned to face him, she caught the look in his eye and felt a smile kink her mouth.

He watched her like a predator would watch its prey.

A heavy rock number was pulsing through the speakers. Tara moved in close to him, noting with grudging admiration that his rhythm was effortlessly matching hers. He knew how to dance.

And she knew how to flirt.

She turned and felt his body meld with hers, his chest to her back, his hand resting on her hip as they swayed together. Tara let her head fall to the side, exposing her neck. She added a kick to her hips so that her arse brushed against his crotch, smiling to herself as he gasped.

His other arm locked over her shoulder, pulling her closer. She gasped as his breath tickled her ear.

“Want to get some air?”

Sneak Peek Sunday…with Sexy PI Vampires! Yay! (@MFRW_ORG #SPeekSunday)

Sneak Peek Sunday Banner

Again, many thanks to Sara Walter Ellwood for making this opportunity available.

And here’s a little peek at a story I hope you’ll love. But wait, you cry! What’s it about? How can I understand the action without a blurb?

Well, okay, I totally get that.

So here’s the blurb to Blood is Thicker:

Genre: Paranormal action-adventure.

A century-old vampire, Rama is used to shadows and loneliness.

She uses the name Hestia White and lives in a coastal town working as a private investigator. If some bad guys disappear on her shift, no one cares…until John van Helsing shows up. Bearing the name of the vamps’ greatest foe, he interferes in her case and in her life.

Friend, lover or enemy?

by Suz deMello

by Suz deMello

And here are the six paragraphs I’m allowed to post for this blog hop:

…he gave me his pussy-warming smile, then leaned forward and kissed me.  He thrust his tongue into my mouth, and when it scraped past my sharp canines, I tasted his blood.

Yes.  I sucked greedily.  Sweet.  Rich.  John was a vampire, and he’d fed recently on young, healthy prey.  I let myself drown in that lushness for a moment.  It suffused my every cell with rapture, energizing me even though I went weak from pleasure.  Then I returned the favor, pushing my tongue into his mouth and searching for his canines, deliberately pressing into their edges to give him a part of myself, my blood.  The tiny cuts would heal quickly, while the mingling, the sharing would last forever.

An otherworldly tingle started in my lips and tongue, spreading over my flesh like magic rainbows dancing over my skin.  All-encompassing pleasure wrapped me in ecstasy.  His kiss transported me into another world, a private, magical universe of bliss.  For a brief moment, nothing and no one else existed.  Desire flamed into violent life, capturing me with unbreakable bonds.  My clit quivered, and my pussy clenched with need.  I reached for John, grasping his jacket’s lapels, uncaring when I gripped so tight that my greedy, needy fingers tore the gray gabardine.

I cannot begin to describe the communion that’s created when two immortals connect.  Kissing is like an orgasm not only of the body, but of the mind and soul as well. (Yes, we have souls, unnatural though they may be). I tugged him closer, frantic to feel his chest against mine, desperate for his cock to enter me. It had been so long… Besides, up close and personal, John’s sheer masculinity overwhelmed me.  I’d forgotten how seductive lust could be.  I could become addicted to his kiss, the hard planes of his body beneath my questing fingertips, his raw animal blood-scent.

I wanted to kiss John forever, and make love with him throughout eternity, but I was wary of becoming ensnared.  We immortals are a suspicious lot.  We don’t love very often.  We fear our fellows, and with good reason.

John could kill me.  The tiny sips we’d shared were tasty, but my heart’s blood would make him immensely powerful.

Carolina Valdez and the Siberian (tiger, that is)

Carolina Valdez has a story to tell…

The Siberian is a love story, but every romance has to have a setting. I don’t usually write “message” stories, and I’m not sure what set me along a conservation path for this one except for my love of wild animals.

My early days as a zoo enthusiast no doubt had something to do it. When I was ten, my mother would pack a sack lunch for me on Saturdays, and I would bicycle alone to the zoo. I ate my lunch in a grotto with a small waterfall and lush tropical plantings, then wandered the grounds until my feet were too sore to take another step.

med_TheSiberianThe summer I was twelve, a girlfriend and I took a class there. We learned Ape is a subgroup of the primates, and Gorilla is a variety among the Greater Apes. Apes have no tails. Monkeys, a separate primate subgroup, do.

Until now, I’ve never had a need to use that information! Unaware of it when young, today I realize the two major thrusts of any zoo are education and conservation.

My two previous animal shifter stories are not conservation oriented, even though Inhabiting The Night features a white tiger, and a snow leopard prowls the pages of Twilight. As research for this current story deepened my understanding of the Panthera Tigris big cats, I fell in love—like Grigorij—with the Siberian Amur above all others.

Setting a story in the vast part of Russia in Asia known as Siberia was a daunting challenge. I did find articles in The Siberian Times online for tips on life there. Although education, even through the college years, is free in Russia, locating Siberian college towns near the Amur River, and its taiga forest of spruce, pines and larches, proved impossible. The town of Amurskova and its university exist only in my imagination.

I’m not sure the 1996 conservation program between the United States and Russia that I modeled mine after still exists. However, conservation methods are similar anywhere in the world.

Sadly, the very real and active World Wildlife Fund organization estimates we have lost 93% of the wild tigers in the world due to poaching and loss of habitat. Siberians are believed to have declined from the high of 400 in my story.

I hope you enjoy The Siberian, and fall in love with these big cats as I did.

…in which Edgar MacReiver tries to show his affianced bride who’s boss.

But will Isobel, the wild child of the infamous vampire clan Kilburn, be easily tamed?

OF COURSE NOT!

Saturday Spankings-467x200

The world became a bright blur as he grabbed her and flipped her over. She landed face down, sprawled over his thighs, naked buttocks thrust into the air as though they were presented to him.

He swatted her rump.

“Edgar!”

“What?” He spanked her again a few inches below her bound hands.

“Ye-ye’re hitting me.”

He separated her thighs and caressed her quim, pressing a finger inside.“Don’t pretend it hurts. Your cunny is telling me differently.”

Sexy City Nights with Lucy Felthouse (@cw1985)…experience erotic Paris

City Nights: One Night in Paris by Lucy Felthouse

Sounds like fun, huh? So what’s it about?

Blurb:

One Night in Paris

One Night in Paris

Jacob is nearly forty, and has recently come to the sudden realisation that he’s not doing much with his life. Sure, he’s got his own successful business, but what’s the point in earning lots of money and not doing anything or going anywhere to spend it?

He’s in serious danger of being all work and no play, so he starts to rectify this by organising a twenty four hour layover in Paris en route to a meeting in Dubai. Whilst there, he goes on a bus tour of the city, and there meets Annabelle, a fellow Brit who’s studying in Paris. There’s clearly an attraction between the two of them, so when the gorgeous Annabelle makes an indecent proposal to help Jacob fill his time in Paris, who is he to refuse?
