#RainbowSnippets April 2-3, Misdemeanor Coming Soon
Bit late now it's actually Monday, but I'm sliding up to offer you all another snippet from the upcoming release that is Misdemeanor in the Responsible Adult series.****“Hi,” Dan breathed.Micky smelled the alcohol instantly. He’d been around it too long not to. “Hi,” he replied, trying to hide the bat, but knowing it was too late.“Jesus Christ! Is that a baseball bat?” Dan shuddered.“No.” Micky quickly threw the thing into the pot beside the door. "Rounders,” he said, turning back to face Dan with a serene smile. “Smaller. Thicker. Does more damage.”Dan gulped. “Were you going to hit me with that?”“If I was going to hit you with it, you wouldn’t be standing up asking me, would you?” Micky retorted.Dan shifted uneasily, running a hand through his hair.“It’s for assurances,” Micky offered in consolation. “In case it ain’t a tall, dark, handsome figure at my door.”****Rainbow Snippets is a facegroup for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (no spoilers please!).****And much like my last post, here's a little preview/bio of our second MC Dan...

#Rainbowsnippets, March 25-26, kickstarting my blog :)
Kick starting my blog with a bang! Joined the fabulous Rainbow Snippets group on facebook and thought what a wonderful way to get going with this blog malarkey than to give you a snippet from my first novel.Misdemeanor, first book in theResponsible Adultseries, to be published by Pride Publishing on 23 May 2017.Blurb, for reference:After his mother tragically dies and his deadbeat father goes off the rails, nineteen-year-old Micky is left to care for his disabled little brother, Flynn.Juggling college, a dead end job and Flynn's special needs means Micky has to put his bad boy past behind him and be the responsible adult to keep his brother out of care. He doesn't have time for anything else in his life.Until he meets Dan.Six lines, right? Think I got it ;)****There was a brief pause, where only the ticking of the wall clock tapped around the otherwise hushed staff dining room and Dan searched for a better response than a two-letter one.“Fuck me,” he finally breathed out. Well, he was just full of the unprofessionalism today.Micky narrowed his eyes. Possibly wondering if Dan’s latest, at least two-syllable remark, warranted another laugh, a return of the putrid brown overalls or, perhaps, a genuine request? As if letting him decide, Micky waited quietly.****And just because... I'm going to be adding little character bios leading up the the book release. Let you all meet the gang.First up - Micky.

The common thread is that every story's main character identifies as LGBTQ+. The snippets could range from zero flames to full-on sexytimes, anything goes content-wise. The only rule is snippets will be 6 sentences long–one for each color in the Pride flag.

News
Sorry I've been a bit absent from here for a while. It's been a busy New Year for me.
But, couple of announcements should you be interested. Firstly, I now have a website. So to keep up to date and see any new releases you can subscribe to me at www.cfwhiteauthor.com.
Also, my first release with Pride Publishing is due out in May. The book is called Misdemeanor and is the first in my Responsible Adult series, so keep an eye out for that one. Details can be found on my website.
The District Line will also be going through some major edits shortly for a re release, which means the sequel won't be released via self-pub means as first mentioned. Sorry to those waiting for it! But I assure you, it'll be worth the wait :)

The District Line
Hi - so this is my first blog post just to give a bit of background info on my books.
The release of The District Line into all good ebook stores and on amazon marked my first foray into self publishing! The novel is actually the first of a trilogy series - so be expecting more to come shortly. Currently still in the editing stages of the second one and I would hope for a before Christmas release of that.
I have a couple other books up my sleeve, all within the m/m romance genre. So watch this space for more information on those.
