The Heartbreaker was such fun to write! It's a simple story where two boys like one girl and one girl likes two boys, but... she's afraid to admit it. And when one of them is infamous for conquering women's hearts, she tries as much as she can to resist him. But, as Borg would say, resistance is futile. :-)

So my novelette is out, called Double Distraction. It's not a story that I set out to write, but it turned out to be so much more at the end. It's not a typical romance and that's one of the reasons why it holds a special place in my heart. I always had a feeling that this story shouldn't be only about romance, but also about awakening and choosing your own path.
And while I'm now working on a second story which is completely different, I feel a strange kind of satisfaction. The idea of being able to always surprise both the reader and myself is giving me a special kind of accomplishment.
To variety! And being different!
And my new story called The Heartbreaker is going to be awesome!

I think that my book is finished. I'm still too scared to acknowledge it. Now the revision process starts, which is something that I look forward to and fear at the same time. I feel as if I have this vulnerable thing on my hands, and I will either help it grow or break it.

When Adrienne arrives in the town called Destiny, she meets three men and one woman who will change her life forever.
The men are all very different and I fell in love with all three of them while writing this.
One is pathologically possessive and maniacal, one is egotistical and cunning and the third one would be perfect if he had a heart.
All three of them are beyond dangerous and would do anything to get what they want. And they all want her.
But we have a different kind of heroine here.
The one who calls the shots.
The one who says who, when and how.
The one who is maybe more dangerous than all of them.
Because Adrienne will be ruled by no man, let alone three.

Writing is a strange thing. I set out to write a collection of short stories, but my characters had their own agenda. So now what should have been a collection of stories will be a series of books. Adrienne and her company of crazy, strange, beautiful friends and lovers chose to take some unexpected paths and I had no choice but to follow. So now I have on my hands a wonderful, epic story of a truly remarkable, brave heroine and three, once friends and now enemies, who all want her. And that's not all.
I was pretty obsessed with writing this and still am. I hope to publish the first book real soon and I'm extremely excited about it!
Writing is strange.

The Adventures of Adrienne is a collection of short stories that resonate old fashioned literary erotica, but in the spirit of the 21st century. It's not necessarily a romance story, which doesn't mean that love can't or won't happen.
The main character, after a traumatic experience in her life, decides to let go of the life as she knew it and almost deconstruct herself in order to rebuild her life once again. Everything she was afraid of, everything she fantasized about, everything she imagined, now is something that she lets herself experience. She might even find love in the end, but will it be the kind of love she expected?
