Samantha is an author, comic artist, and children's librarian. She received a BFA in drawing from the University of Missouri in 2015 and a Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2018. Samantha was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. Her debut graphic novel, A Tale As Tall As Jacob, is based on her own experiences growing up with her little brother Jacob, who was diagnosed in childhood.
