And so it begins. The Mushara Ele Project 2017 field season is up and running. Our Awesome team is clearly excited to get into the field! Ele pics from the first days in the field are on the way….

See the full story at Washington Post where Caitlin describes how we have seen both experienced and nooby moms trying to help their babies out of a tight spot. There is always a lot of drama, a thoroughly surprised and wet baby and a lot of complicated cooperation. But at our field site it always tuns out well in the end.

In just over a month we will be back in Namibia for a new field season with the eles. This is usually when the dreams of elephants and lions start kicking in!
