What a wonderful conference! I met a great group of gals who attended the conference. We became fast friends and I have no doubt we'll keep in touch. The Texas hospitality was over the top, friendly authors or aspiring writers along with a helpful staff made this my favorite conference to date. Professors from nearby universities led the workshops along with social media specialists, and publicists. Chuck Sambuchino was the Key Note speaker and I have to say it was the most inspirational presentation I've heard. Can't wait for next years conference!

The conference is coming! The conference is coming! Just a day away from the 20th annual WLT Agents & Editors Conference.  Soon the Writers' League staff and the 50-plus member VIP faculty will be descending upon the Hyatt Regency in Austin, Texas- with over 200 writers.

I look forward to trying a different conference for a change and spending time in Austin, a fun, artsy city full of fun things to do. I always come home feeling refreshed after meeting others in the writing industry and getting new ideas for my writing!

I just love this picture of the young Amish boy handling two work horses. He looks so little next to them. I was glad to see the older man, probably his father, on the side helping him along.
