Apple or Pear?


My sister, Ankita, when she saw the cover page of 'Don't lose your mind, lose your weight' said that it looks like the cover of a chicklit novel. Chicklit or not, I don't know, but don't miss the apple or the pear on the cover. You must have read about the different body shapes- apple means this... and pear means that... Violence sucks!!

What makes domestic violence so peculiar?
My bai, Archana had disappeared for 3 days. This is how she looked when she turned up this morning.

Desperately trying to look and behave normal. Yes, you guessed it. Her husband has banged his knee into her face. It cracked her nose, ruptured the capillaries in her eyes, and her face is swollen like a potato!

She went straight to the kitchen with a handkerchief on her watering eye and I ran after her and stupidly asked what’s happened to her? Like all goo

Is Zero the new Hero?

Yeah I am referring to size zero. While most people are looking up to Kareena for the weight she has lost, the media is going over board with the whole Size zero thing.
Kareena is NOT size zero! But many Indian women are. Barring a small percentage who live in cities and can fend for themselves, most of the women have issues like starvation, gender discrimination, too many children too little food etc to deal with.

Some facts.
Size zero (American concept) refers to a woman who is less than 5’4” & h
