The Story of Jan and Julianna

When JC and I first began tossing around the idea for the Tales from the World of the Noble Dead Saga, I was thinking mainly of filling in some gaps of curiosity on the part of our readers.



So . . . I started off with Loni (the lone elf in Miiska), as he had been a source of questions from our readers over the years.  I moved to filling in some "holes" in the Rashed/Teesha story and then onto Ratboy.

One month in . . .

So, one month ago today, The Mist-Torn Witches was published.  Release day was stressful--as it is for all writers--as I watched the Amazon and B&N sales ranks and hoped beyond hope that a few people realized the book existed.



I opened a bottle of red wine that night and drank half of it.



For the rest of the month, I've tried to distract myself with other writing projects and doing a little online marketing.



The landscape in both the publishing industry and the book-selling...
