The Forever Bond

Buddy felt forever bonded to Nina from grade school and on. Uncovering a gold pocket watch near a mysterious shed showed a photo that turned out to be Nina and the inscription read "To Buddy: I'll love you forever, Nina." That convinced Buddy and Nina. A series of happenings including the appearance of Buddy's great-grandmother from the distant pass inside of the shed also warned Buddy that he wasn't to go against the message of the watch. However, later when they are grown, Nina doubts Buddy and tells him to date Sally, another girl from their school just to prove his love for Nina. It becomes apparent that it is Nina who may not love Buddy after all. Sally has been in love with Buddy all through school and into college. The inscription and photo changes from Nina to Sally. Later the inscription and photo both disappear and no one remembers except Buddy about the watch message. Two things happen that convinces Buddy that he wasn't dreaming after all.

Beautiful, Inside and Out

Full-figured Bess Simpson despairs — so many men on campus are turned off by "fat chicks." Only one has caught her eye, but he's always with the petite drum major. Bolstered by an encouraging best friend, Bess finds her math ability comes in handy — the man of her dreams needs a tutor.

Art Fuller wants to be a metallurgical engineer, but he must pass the Differential Equations class, and math is not his strong point. To make matters worse, the help session leader is no help, and dating the daughter of the department head isn’t getting him anywhere but henpecked, especially when he turns to Bess for some assistance.

Will Bess impress him beyond the subject at hand? Or is he unable to recognize her true value?

Love Me True: A Willow Oaks Sweet Romance (A Willow Oaks Novel Book 1)

It was only supposed to be pretend.

Aspiring author, Amy Mitchell, used to believe in romance and happily ever after. That was until her husband cheated on her. Now, she just writes about it.

When she takes on a part-time job as a babysitter to the daughter of a deliciously handsome, but self-entitled single dad; the last thing she expected was to fall for him.

For Sam Whitford, life ended the day his wife left him and their young daughter because of a lost inheritance. Sick of the consequences of being a billionaire's heir, he bites the bullet and moves away to the small town of Willow Oaks.

But when Sam learns that his domineering mother is coming to town, he knows that it will only be a matter of time before she meddles in his love life again; so he convinces Amy to be his pretend girlfriend.

Tensions rise as Amy and Sam spend time together, but so do their feelings for each other. And the longer they spend entangled in their fictitious relationship, the harder it becomes for them to know what's real and what's not.

Will Amy and Sam get the Happily Ever-After they both deserve?

Love Me True is a story about acceptance, moving on, and finding happily ever after. It is the first book in the Willow Oaks Sweet Romance series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. About Melissa Crosby

Traded: Brody and Kara (Cliffside Bay Book 1)

She can’t afford to be found. His life is on public display. Will her dangerous past destroy their chance for love?

Nurse Kara Boggs lost everything because she stood up for what’s right. After turning state’s evidence against her mobster father, she’s forced to go underground with an assumed name. But taking a job for a handsome celebrity quarterback could shine a very dangerous public spotlight.

After leading his team to a Super Bowl win, Brody Mullen should be on top of the world. But he’s shocked when his quiet seaside homecoming reveals his mother in a cast, and her housekeeper dying from a brain tumor. Frantic to get the best care for the women he adores, he hires a gorgeous nurse… despite her strange request to stay publicly invisible.

As Kara’s attraction to the charming jock grows, she becomes trapped by her own high-stakes secrets and the constant threat of exposure. And Brody’s famously strict “no women” rule means falling hard for the beautiful woman could ruin his career.

Will they be sidelined by their own rules, or will they complete a pass to passion?

Traded: Brody and Kara is the touching first book in the Cliffside Bay small-town romance series. If you like courageous heroines, steadfast heroes, and heartfelt stories of friendship and family, you’ll adore Tess Thompson’s emotional saga. About Tess Thompson

Tess Thompson is the USA Today Bestselling and award-winning author of contemporary and historical Romantic Women’s Fiction with nearly 40 published titles. When asked to describe her books, she could never figure out what to say that would perfectly sum them up until she landed on, Hometowns and Heartstrings.

She’s married to her prince, Best Husband Ever, and is the mother of their blended family of four kids and five cats. Best Husband Ever is seventeen months younger, which qualifies Tess as a Cougar, a title she wears proudly. Her Bonus Sons are young adults with pretty hair and big brains like their dad. Daughters, better known as Princess One and Two, are teenagers who make their mama proud because they’re kind. They’re also smart, but a mother shouldn’t brag.

Tess loves lazy afternoons watching football, hanging out on the back patio with Best Husband Ever, reading in bed, binge-watching television series, red wine, strong coffee and walks on crisp autumn days. She laughs a little too loudly, never knows what to make for dinner, looks ridiculous kickboxing in an attempt to combat her muffin top, and always complains about the rain even though she chose to live in Seattle.

She’s proud to have grown up in a small town like the ones in her novels. After graduating from the University of Southern California Drama School, she had hopes of becoming an actress but was called instead to writing fiction. She’s grateful to spend most days in her office matchmaking her characters while her favorite cat Mittens (shhh…don’t tell the others) sleeps on the desk.

She adores hearing from readers, so don’t hesitate to say hello at [email protected] or sign up for her newsletter: http://tesswrites.com/. You’ll receive an ebook copy of her novella, The Santa Trial, for your efforts.
