Hexarchate Stories is a forthcoming collection of short fiction set in the world of the Machineries of Empire trilogy (Ninefox Gambit, Raven Stratagem, and Revenant Gun).  It’s about half reprints and half new material; the latter is mostly in the form of “Glass Cannon,” a novella sequel to Revenant Gun.

Dragon Pearl is a middle grade Korean mythology space opera: the heroine is Min, a fox spirit who runs away from her impoverished planet to solve the mystery of her missing brother.  Along the way, she’ll encounter space pirates, a sinister tiger spirit captain, ghosts, and more–perhaps even the legendary Dragon Pearl with its ability to terraform worlds.

Dedicated to my daughter, Arabelle Sophie Betzwieser, my favorite Dragon.
