You Are Go for Lift-Off

It's time to celebrate some romance in your science fiction!
I'm going to be all around the interwebs for a the next few weeks doing interviews and guest posts, plus giving away copies of my new eBook, Midnight's Ghost (which releases later tonight – usually around 7pm EST). To start things off, I'm at Para-Fanatics all week with D. L. Jackson (who wrote the uberfabulous sci-fi rom Last Flight of the Ark) where she interviewed me. Swing on by and check it out – I'll be giving ...

Six Sentence Sunday – 5/9

To celebrate my new release – tomorrow from Liquid Silver Books – of Midnight's Ghost, here are six sentences. Yey for looking back at the past.
Dad and I had just dropped off a shipment to the royal family on Pepla and were on our way back to Earth when he decided to stop at Nagol. Dad had said there was some business matters he needed to attend to for a few days and I chose to stay at the docking port with Eidolon and work on a few minor items that had been giving us a...

Paranormal Romantics

A few weeks ago, I was asked to join a group of six other authors (most of whom all write some blend of paranormal/urban fantasy/fantasy). I've done a few guest posts over there already and really enjoyed talking to the other authors, so I was thrilled when I was asked to join. So, from now on every Thursday, you'll find me over at Paranormal Romantics.
Come check it out!

Blood Fever – Cover Art & Blurb

WooHoo! My publisher has released the cover art for Blood Fever and I thought I'd toss the blurb in there as well. Enjoy!

Midnight's Ghost – First Chapter

Four months of waiting have nearly come to a close – just seven days until Midnight's Ghost releases. To celebrate, I've decided to give a look-see and you benefit. Here's the first chapter of Midnight's Ghost in its entirety. Give me a shout and tell me what you think!
Chapter One
Whoever said karma was a bitch wasn't kidding. I wondered what cosmic entity I had pissed off this time in order to earn this particular boot in the stomach. I mean that literally, by the way...

Six Sentence Sunday – 5/2

As promised yesterday, today's six sentences are from my current work-in-progress, Midnight's Shadow, the second book in the Star Runner Saga. The first of the series, Midnight's Ghost, will be available on May 10th.
Wallace waved a hand in the air to dismiss the man's words. "What can I do for you?"
"Looking for a ride and I hear you've got the best pilot on the planet over here."
"Galaxy," I muttered as I pressed the sock down against the cut on my foot.
"Pardon?"
Wallace...

State of Sara

I haven't done this in a while, so I'd thought I share a bit on how things are going and where they're going.
My first science fiction romance, Midnight's Ghost, will be released on May 10 (just a short ten days from now) from Liquid Silver Books. I'll be doing some promotional work to coincide with the release, so keep an eye out in the coming weeks for that. In fact, on Monday – 5/3 – I'll be posting the entire first chapter of Midnight's Ghost. Be sure to stop back by and...

Midnight's Ghost Release Date

So, are you as OCD as I? Have the need to mark things down (especially book release dates – please tell me I'm not the only one who does that!)? Well then, let me add to the list:
I've gotten a release date for Midnight's Ghost: May 10th (usually by 7pm EST).
And since we're on the subject of sci-fi, I'm halfway through the next book in that series titled, Midnight's Shadow.

Six Sentence Sunday – 4/24

For something with a bit of a different flavor, instead of sharing an upcoming release or a work in progress, this Sunday will be from my novel, Flash of Dark. Enjoy!
Zoey was partially on the couch at this point, cuddling with the half empty bottle of tequila clutched to her chest as I moved away to slide my coat around my shoulders. A smile was turning up the corners of her mouth and she gestured for me to come over before I left. I could smell the alcohol on her breath as I...

Midnight's Ghost Playlist

A while back I talked about the fact I listen to a lot of music when I write. My upcoming release, Midnight's Ghost, is no exception. Here's the playlist for it (try not to point and laugh too much at my selections – they usually go along with what's happening in the story I'm writing at the time and whatever helps you write, right?) A lot of the songs deal with reconnecting or remembering because that's the case with Taran & Wallace. There's a lot about 'end of the world' t...
