The pic for the 29th is Ray, former pirate, former smuggler, former nightclub owner, and currently Dorina’s second in command, which is admirable when you consider that they first met after she cut off his head! But things are better now, or they would be, if the two weren’t currently lost in Faerie. But if you have to be lost with someone, you could do worse than Ray, who is endlessly resourceful. Snarky, but resourceful.

Going to be busy tomorrow, so I thought I’d post the pics for the 28th a little early. There are two of them this time, because they go together (at least, a certain someone hopes they do). This is Rhea, Cassie’s heir, Agnes’ daughter, and Pythia-in-training. Thanks to the war, she’s getting a lot of the latter. Thanks to her talent, she’s holding up pretty well. It’s hard when your boss is a demigoddess, but Rhea is swimming rather than sinking–so far.

And below is the other pic for the 28th–Rico! He’s a bass-ass Italian vampire who has fallen hard for the Pythia’s pretty heir. It’s an odd combo, but the Pythian Court has seen odder ones, and they seem smitten with each other. Only time will tell if their love can last.

I’m still doing daily pics of my characters, and today’s is Sal and Alphonse, who worked for a vampire gangster known as Tony and acquired a bit of a bad rep as a result. But while she was a hard-bitten saloon-girl-turned-vampire, Sal had a softer side. She loved fashion and tried to do a makeover on fashion victim Cassie–before she tried to kill her, that was. And her boy toy Alphonse had a predilection for photography which he indulged in between massacres. See? Not all bad. You just have to get to know people.

Today’s pic is of Augustine, the grumpy fashion designer who occasionally helps and/or irritates Cassie Palmer. But it isn’t possible to talk about Augustine without showing his clothes, and luckily, a 2023 Look Book for the great man’s Spring collection fell into our hands. Scroll down to see what he’s been up to, and to meet the man behind it all at the end.

The daily pic is a request from a reader who could never visualize Augustine’s magical creations. She wanted to see one of them, and the most memorable of all was the ballgown that Cassie wore in Paris, which caused such envy in Ming-de that she wanted to steal its creator. It involved a rotating galaxy of stars that surrounded Cassie and burned her enemies, and while I can’t make a moving gif to show what that looked like, this is an approximation.

Okay, so I have an addiction to AI generated pics and some people enjoy seeing them. I have therefore decided to post one a day until I run out, as a way to keep people happy, to feed my addiction, and to allow me to get some actual work done (because otherwise, I’d just sit here all day and play with images!) That’s a long way of saying that today’s pic is Billy Joe encountering the hereafter. If you have a character you’d like to see, leave me a comment below.
