Patience
Who knew when I started writing the first draft of my first novel, I'd need patience by the boat load in this business? Sure as hell not me! LOL It's been quite the journey. I started writing my middle grade fantasy novel, titled, Gabriel Stone and the Divinity of Valta several years ago. Of course I only wrote a few pages and left it. Until...one day my husband found it on an old computer and was like, "You have to finish this!" Which made me smile, and then finish the darn thing. At that...

Positivity begets positivity
Your heart is heavy and negative thoughts multiply asyou stumble down the path endeavouring to find your way home. They sprout up among the in-between places once filled with only cobblestone rocks;the same rocks that have always guided you to your safe place beneath the stars.
The wrought iron lamp posts cast eerie shadows wherefairies once danced in shades of iridescent colors. You count...

Unveiled by Trisha Wolfe
Check out this amazing cover of the new novelette by Trisha Wolfe! It makes me sigh. Love it!
Amongst the wasteland lies the gleaming city of Karm. A Camelot-esque utopia built from the ashes of a dying world. Seventeen-year-old Fallon is no daughter of Karm. She's its assassin. Raised by a secret society of rebels, she's bent on bringing down the King's sham of an existence. But her first mark, one of the King's top knights of the Force, makes her question everything. Even her heart...

THE CALL
I wanted to share some exciting new with you guys. News that made me smile as big as Texas. I actually got the call! You know, the call that all of us writers hope and dream of getting. I can now excitedly say that I have an agent! And not just any agent. My amazing agent is the one and only Lauren Hammond of ADA Management. Not only is she super sweet and down to earth, she is enthusiastic about my writing. Could a writer ask for more? I don't think so, but it came with more for...

Magical Moments

Seashells and white sand spread beneath my feet,
a cottage nestled on jade-coloured grass for a weekend retreat.
Laying in a meadow under the bloated white moon,
a butterfly's release from its empty cocoon.
Lovers first kiss, a hug from a friend,
the hope that these things never come to an end.
The vibrant colors of fresh autumn leaves,
the intricate web a spider magically weaves.
The wonders of life seen through children's eyes,
scents of wildflowers and fresh apple...
