A lovely review for When Darkness Ends
4 1/2 Stars for WHEN DARKNESS ENDS!!
Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and this 12th volume of Ivy’s outstanding Guardians of Eternity series is a deeply worthy and satisfying finale to what has been a whole lot of reading fun! Ivy has created a vibrant world filled with sexy and passionate characters who fight evil — and sometimes their own instincts. This exceptional series has been terrific from beginning to end!
After helping fellow clan chief Roke find his mate, Cyn, the vampire clan chief of Ireland, is suddenly and unexpectedly transported back to his private lair. Transported along with him is Fallon, a Princess of the Chatri (aka fairies). Neither are happy about it, but their concern grows when they learn they have been brought together by Siljar the Oracle. Siljar suspects that someone or something is tampering with the Commission — all the members are experiencing gaps of time. Having an unseen force able to control the entire Commission could spell disaster for all the worlds. Now, Cyn and Fallon are in a race against time to stop whatever insidious plot is afoot.

Even better, he was lethally sexy. The perfect hero. My GUARDIANS OF ETERNITY, however, already had a large cast of vampires and Weres and fey creatures. There wasn’t much room for Baine and his equally fascinating friends. Which was why I came up with a new spin-off, THE DRAGONS OF ETERNITY. For those who haven’t read my previous series, this is a perfect place to start. And for those who have enjoyed the Guardians, I can promise there will be a few scenes with your favorite gargoyle, Levet!
