Pirene's Fountain Submissions Open

PF is ready for submissions to its last online issue! Starting 2014 Pirene's Fountain will be offered as a print annual, published by Glass Lyre Press. Send in submissions with brief bio to [email protected]. Editors will read August through early September. DEADLINE to submit is August 15th, 2013. All kinds of poems are welcome. Our focus is on excellent writing: lyricism, layering of meaning, and well crafted work. In support of the recent Boston events and similar events around the world, we are also reading poems relating to terror, but please keep in mind, language and writing will be evaluated before the topic--we get a lot of poems that state the obvious...we look for something deeper, more subtle! Thanks as always for your support~PF Staff

Best of Pirene's Fountain

We are coming in to the homestretch of our "Best of Pirene's Fountain" anthology. Sixty-five poets from the first five years of the journal: 2008-2012! We will be sending out emails for permission to reprint poems, and for updated bios, etc. in the coming weeks. The book will be published by Glass Lyre Press--do stop by and like the press (if you haven't already). Thanks, as always, for your support and encouragement; we appreciate all of you more than you can imagine!
