It's release week for Rock Candy Kisses! It's almost here!!!! Rock Candy Kisses releases Saturday, Valentine's Day, and I couldn't think of a more appropriate day to share Annie's story with the world.
In other book news, I received my author copies of Ethereal, the Turkish edition!
Is that cool or what? I think the publisher chose a very clever and cute cover! It's even more beautiful in person. I think Skyla would be proud.

Blake’s POV (Just before he officially meets Annie)
Here she is, the mystery girl who threw my entire day for a loop. I tried to chase her down, but she zigged and zagged so fast I lost sight of what building she flew into. And here I was afraid I had imagined her, I thought for sure all that adrenaline pumping through me was making me see what I wanted, skewing my perspective of reality. Reality hasn’t been so great as of late. But she’s here, every bit as beautiful as I remember and then some.

Here she is, the mystery girl who threw my entire day for a loop. I tried to chase her down, but she zigged and zagged so fast I lost sight of what building she flew into. Book news! I'm officially back on Paragon! Skyla is very happy about this. Well, as happy as she can be. It's really terribly exciting. Marshall is on fire. That's how I like him best because that is one hot Sector. BTW, I'm terrified to post teasers related to The Serpentine Butterfly (Celestra Forever After 3). Some things are better left unsaid—or at least until the moment is right. But that doesn't mean I won't. We shall see!
The book news: Velvet Kisses is done! And hopefully in a week or so it will be with my editor! Yay! Marley is a riot. I hope you'll have just as much fun with her as I have.

This is about us.” His mouth moves slowly, methodically. “I want you to feel comfortable. I would never force you to do something you didn’t want.”
A coy smile creeps up the side of my face. I’m ready to move things along. I’m putting down the phone now. I shake it a moment before setting it on the coffee table.

The Tuesday tease
Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start. I've been moving and shaking with Rock Candy Kisses (edits) and the next book in the Kisses series, Velvet Kisses (writing). I think after that I'll head to a different series, most likely finishing out a few that I've already started such as the Beautiful Oblivion series, or the Burning Through Gravity series. Meanwhile, I'll be penning The Serpentine Butterfly in tandem to whatever I'm writing at the time. Skyla demands I get my @$$ back to that island and I totally get it.

“You want to get out of here?” I ask Annie, mouthing the words slowly, as she digs her fingers into my ribs.Hers eyes widen just past my shoulder, and I turn to find the angry brother brigade marching my way.“What’s going on?” Holt expands his chest like he’s looking for a fight. He is. I’m sure my face looks like a pretty good target. I have no doubt the disagreements we have about me seeing Annie will be settled with our fists. It’s just a matter of where and when.Annie signs something over to them. I’ve spent hours glued to the Internet trying to figure out how to sign, but, she’s quick, and I’m betting I can guess the point she’s trying to get across simply from the angry glint in her eye.
“Is that so?” He laughs as he looks to me. “Annie says you two are leaving. Just where do you think you’re taking my sister?”
*(Side note: I just love the way Bryson and Holt protect Annie!)

Welcome to the New Year! It's Tuesday! I hope you're all keeping warm and toasty. I'm tucked up in the mountains surrounded by sparkling white snow and baby it's cold outside!
Book news! I'm almost ready to kick Rock Candy Kisses to my editor. Stubbornly I want to go over it one more time. I really enjoyed hanging out with Annie. For those of you who have read the 3:AM Kisses series, she's Bryson and Holt's sister. Annie is profoundly deaf so this story has been near and dear to me from the beginning since we struggle with various stages of hearing loss in my family. I hope you'll embrace her story and even love it!

I’m pretty sure Blake Daniels isn’t too familiar with the word no. I pull back and dive into my phone just trying to get my bearings.Because I hardly know you. You’re a perfect stranger, remember? I try to ignore the fact this perfect stranger has his arm wrapped around my shoulder. He motions for my phone and I slip it into his hand. You drove here with me—alone. Blake holds back the grin blooming on his face as he shows me the screen. If anything I’ve amused him. I never said I was smart.“You’re smart.” Blake runs his hand through my hair before typing into my phone again. You want it to be special—with the right person—memorable.Which romance taught you that? I ask trying desperately not to flirt. But I'm flirting and I don't care how desperate it comes across.
“This one.” He tucks his fingers to his heart. “I want that for you, too.”

The Tuesday Tease
It's Tuesday (and it totally doesn't feel like it, thank you Christmas) I called Monday, Sunday twice. But timewarp aside, we've arrived!

I'll try to work extra hard to get The Serpentine Butterfly (Celestra Forever After 3) out early to you. So much more is still to happen on that crazy island. (The paperback should be available today or tomorrow. It's still aggregating into the system. I'll update when it goes live).

“Hey"—I pant—"did I do something wrong?” She doesn’t look up, just keeps texting a mile a minute. “I mean, I did sort of save your life today. I would think that would at least warrant a thank you.” A sheepish smile takes over my face. I don’t really want or need a thank you. And if that’s the best I’ve got I’m f*cked. Half the girls in there were throwing their underwear at me and this one won’t acknowledge my existence—ironic since she’s the only one I’d gladly take a pair of panties from. She flashes her phone at me. Her face glows from the light, perfect and beautiful like an angel, and I don’t want to take my eyes off hers. Reluctantly I glance at the phone.Thank you for helping me out this morning. I’m sorry if I seemed rude. I was a little thrown off. My name is Annie, and I’m deaf.
The smile glides off my face without meaning to. She swallows hard with a slight look of hurt as she tries to head back into the bar.
***I'm so super excited to bring Annie's story to you at last. I hope you'll fall in love with her and Blake as much as I have.

The Tuesday Tease!
Happy Tuesday! Christmas is inching closer as we speak! Ack! I hope you're all caught up in whatever it is you need to do, be it shopping, wrapping, baking or corporate takeovers. It's a season of joy—and, well, lots and lots of coffee.
The Dragon and the Rose releases in 3 days!!!!! This Friday, get ready to hop on a ferry to Paragon and hang out with Skyla and the boys. This is a rough, emotional, scary, fun as hell ride. Buckle up kids! It's going to get bumpy.
Other book news: Rock Candy Kisses is in the editing phase. Yay! I can hardly wait to share Annie's story with you. I'm combing through it, so hopefully soon after the holidays I can get it to my editor and betas.
