EEE I LOVE TALKING ABOUT MY COLLECTION! Yes I do! The most sentimental piece of my collection (the part that’s books, anyways) is my copy of Secret Six Volume 1: Villains United

It means so much to me for a lot of reasons. Gail Simone is one of my favourite writers when it comes to DC comics, her work on Wonder Woman and Birds of Prey is amazing. But Secret Six is my personal favourite. I had this graphic with me for a very long time, it’s one of the first graphic novels I ever purchased with my own money aside from The Long Halloween, and not to get emo but when I was stuck in the mental ward for a long while, I would reread this comic over and over again (it and Megatokyo, but to be honest I only read those books because aside from my own, they were the only graphics the ward had).

In fact, I loved this book so much that when it was taken away from me when I got in trouble, rather than behave to get it back I went to the bookstore and bought another copy. And then a year later I got my original copy back. So now I have two. Ones for reading and ones for show!

I even had the grace of having my original copy signed by the talented Dale Eaglesham (artist) and Gail herself! She even wrote “To my biggest fan” and I gave her a drawing of Ragdoll as a thank you for all the joy her stories brought me.
