On #worldbookday I’m so thankful for every book I’ve ever read and written. For every bookseller, librarian, educator, bibliophile, publisher, and reader. For my amazing mom, an author herself, and my amazing dad, for passing down their love of books to me. Read on, lovelies! And thank you for being you!

Presenting ATBP movie trivia: Did you know I filmed a cameo, lovelies? I played the school secretary/assistant principal/principal. (I was never really clear which one!) Here I am in hair (by the fabulously talented and lovely @cherylrmarks ) and makeup (by the fabulously talented and lovely @erinayanianmonroe ) posing at my desk and with the nameplate @silent_rhino had made for me (a tribute to Will & Grace’s Karen Walker). I was in the scene with Charlie and Violet after he’s injured in the fight. I even had my own trailer! But sadly I wound up on the cutting room floor. (The right decision! I was too distracting!) Next time I’m definitely writing myself into the script though!

In the middle of this pandemic and this lockdown, I’m focusing as much as I can on the bright places. So grateful to be with my wonderful, amazing husband @silent_rhino and our kitties and kiddos in our home, safe and healthy (knock wood) and able to write and work. So grateful for friends and family and loved ones across the globe, including you, my lovelies.
