Hey there!

I’m so glad our paths have crossed. I’ll give you a little background and then I’d love to hear from you.

I grew up in rural Montana with three brothers, a sister, mom, dad, and many visiting cousins. Favorite memories include building forts, helping dad in the pig barns, and mom painting our front door red — something I still do.

After discovering an interest in writing, I earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Wyoming. But God had more in mind than a degree. While a sports writer for the college paper, I interviewed the captain of the rugby team — my future husband, Matt.

After graduation we married and moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where we’ve built two homes, raised and home-schooled two sons, and grown to love a comm

Understand God’s Plans Through the Lens of His Purpose

In a world where goals are encouraged and discipline admired, many of us have practically become slaves to making a plan. As wonderful as I imagine a detailed roadmap to be, I’ve yet to experience God giving me one. Instead, He gives us vision for the future. He reveals the next step to take. […]

Quotes by Amy Layne Litzelman  (?)
Quotes are added by the Goodreads community and are not verified by Goodreads. (Learn more)

“You know, we can quote the written Word all day to our friends, but nothing will touch them like our own hunger and love for the Word himself. It is not dutiful love that attracts but love freely lavished from a heart familiar with the gardens of heaven.”
Amy Layne Litzelman, This Beloved Road: A Journey of Revelation and Worship

“Your heart of devotion and obedience is not in vain. Who knows but God how many people have come near to you and were forever changed simply by the fragrance of his love in you? Who knows but God if he will put you before kings and leaders to speak the truth, redirecting the future of nations? Who knows when that small crack in the dam of our enemy’s plans will give way and God’s glory will truly cover the earth as the sea? Do not become distracted or discouraged by the death around you. Death must always give way when the life of Christ enters the picture.”
Amy Layne Litzelman, This Beloved Road: A Journey of Revelation and Worship

“Instead of swinging back and forth between individual points of truth, each piece we learn should build upon another to bring us closer to the full truth.”
Amy Layne Litzelman

“There is no panic in Heaven! God has no problems, only plans.”
Corrie Ten Boom

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”
A.W. Tozer

“God is willing to walk the earth again incarnate in us.”
Eugenia Price, Early Will I Seek Thee

“Well and good if all things change, O Lord God, provided I am rooted in You.”
St. John of the Cross

“Radical obedience to Christ is not easy... It's not comfort, not health, not wealth, and not prosperity in this world. Radical obedience to Christ risks losing all these things. But in the end, such risk finds its reward in Christ. And he is more than enough for us.”
David Platt, Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream

Amy Litzelman I am SO not a salesman, but I am totally convinced of the goodness of my Creator and confident in the power of His love and words to change us and our circumstances. I've seen it in my own life, over and over again. He is amazing!

With that in mind - just a quick reminder that today is the last day of the $2.99 SALE on my eBook. Take a minute to check it out. Maybe the things that fed me and kept me alive will do the same for you. Blessings!

Amy Litzelman When we seek, we will find. If we find ourselves in a place we don't want to be, maybe we should re-evaluate what we are seeking.
