***posting early cause I have a lot going on the first of the month***
I don't do too many giveaway hops in a year, but when I saw these adorable chicks, I just couldn't resist!
Normally I'd give away a physical book, but this time I'd like to have three winners, so I'm going the EBOOK route. I'll have one winner for each of the three categories. The winner can choose the book shown or any other in the same series, including pre-release ebooks, if they're available for me to purchase on the platform you buy from.

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry (ARC)

Katie McGarry
Pub: July 31, 2012

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.I've been sitting on this review for a couple of days now, trying to determine my feelings for it. I'm still not quite sure. I liked the story, but the characters seem to come off as overly damaged. Like too many bad things were thrown at them in an effort to draw sympathy from the reader.
This was a pretty intense story at times, with Echo going through therapy to get lost memories of her incident back and Noah fighting hard to keep what family dynamic he had left together.
Echo really pissed me off at times. Before the incident, she was strong-minded and popular, but afterwards, she let her friends push her around too much. She let them bully her into everything, even going so far as to tell her who to date, and anything else that would get her back on the popular train. Cause let's face it...if Echo wasn't popular, some of her best friends were gonna have to dump her, cause Echo dampened their style. Super fantastic friends you've got there Echo. <rolls eyes>. Noah's friends are the stoner loners, but at least they stick with him as he slowly changes into a straight arrow, and eventually accept Echo (whose own friends couldn't seem to do so). Loved the romance that blooms between them cause it feels real and not rushed, and they certainly end up complementing one another.
I don't wanna say too much about the plot cause their problems aren't really listed in the description, and I believe the author would like for you to discover them for yourselves. But I will say that reading this novel will probably overwhelm you, and weigh you down with all the emotions the characters are going through. Which is a good thing. I like when writers are able to convey that. But for me, there just wasn't enough bounce back in the end to make me cheery, so I ended this novel still feeling a little depressed.

Shadows by Ilsa J. Bick (ARC)

Ilsa J. Bick
Exp. Pub: September 25, 2012 TODAY!!!

Even before the EMPs brought down the world, Alex was on the run from the demons of her past and the monster living in her head. After the world was gone, she believed Rule could be a sanctuary for her and those she’d come to love.
But she was wrong.
Now Alex is in the fight of her life against the adults, who would use her, the survivors, who don’t trust her, and the Changed, who would eat her alive.
Grundgy and Gritty. If a zombie book hasn't gotten you to cringe in disgust and splatter your skin with goosebumps yet, this one will.
If you haven't checked out the Ashes Trilogy yet, I recommend you do. I guess the one thing I'm on the fence about is the change in POV. Ashes was straight up Alex all the way through. Shadows, on the other hand, gave the whole freakin' world a POV. I don't mind multiple POVs...hell, each of my Immortal Archives novels have an average of five per book. It's just weird because these characters were all in Ashes, so it's a little jarring that their POV didn't begin when they were introduced. And truth be told, I still prefer Alex over everyone else, and I want more of her! Although Tom's been a good POV too. The others...I could live without.

Covet by Melissa Darnell (ARC)

Melissa Darnell
Exp. Pub: September 25, 2012 TOMORROW!!!

Savannah Colbert knows she broke up with Tristan Coleman for the right reasons. Most of all, to keep from killing him with her new vampire abilities. But try telling her heart. Now, lost in a sea of hostile Clann faces, Sav tries to come to terms with what she's becoming and what that means for her future. And that someone is doing their best to bully her into making a terrible mistake.
Tristan can't believe Sav won't even talk to him. If being apart is her decision, fine. Just don't expect him to honor it. But even as he prepares to fight for the girl he loves, forces beyond their control take them both in directions neither could have foreseen or prepared for.
A reckoning is coming...and not everyone will survive.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Romeo and Juliet had it easy compared to these two. If you can't find it in your heart to root for Savannah and Tristen, me thinks it's made of stone.
Savannah and Tristen have been in love with each other since they were little kids, even going so far as to magically share dreams just to spend time together. Now that everyone knows about their secret rendezvous, their two opposing societies are on the verge of war. Tristen grew up a member of the Clann, a descendant in a long line of witches, and is expected to be their leader when his father steps down. Savannah was once part of that Clann too, but was cast out because her father added a few traits of his own to the genetic pool - vampire and succubus - making it easy for Savannah to lure men and drain them of either blood or energy. Since the witches and vamps are sworn enemies, the union of these two love-birds is absolutely forbidden.
Though devastated, Savannah's determined to save Tristen's life from her coven by letting go, but Tristen's ready to battle to the death with his Clann for their right to stay together. In the end, not only are they forced apart, but it's doubly cruel making them attend the same school under the constant scrutiny of watchful eyes, baiting them to defy their order of separation. But their battle to stay together only gets worse when Clann members suddenly start dying - their necks pierced and their bodies drained of blood. And since the Clann has always been wary of the peace treaty they have with the vamps, most are itching for a reason to go to war. Lies and deceit seem to hit them on both fronts. Will Savannah and Tristen begin to turn on one another to save their own kind, or will they find the strength to rise above them all and stand alone, knowing full well it'll probably be the death of them?
I've been dying to see how Covet would play out, knowing full well I'd be in for tears and heartache after the devastating blow Crave left Savannah and Tristen with. But it was so worth the wait - and the mind-numbing agony! The second installment of The Clann is more intense, and filled with so much action and suspense you'll be sucked in until the bitter, heart-wrenching end. Grab the tissues!

Auracle by Gina Rosati - ARC Tour

Auracle
Gina Rosati
Pub: August 7, 2012

When there's a fatal accident and her classmate Taylor takes over Anna's body, what was an exhilarating distraction from her repressive home life threatens to become a permanent state. Faced with a future trapped in another dimension, Anna turns to Rei for help. Now the two of them must find a way to get Anna back into her body and stop Taylor from accusing an innocent friend of murder. Together Anna and Rei form a plan but it doesn't take into account the deeper feelings that are beginning to grow between them.
Talk about a bad case of the body snatchers!
Taylor can be quite the slut, and she doesn't understand that no means no. So when she steals Seth's phone and leaves him a message that he can meet her at the falls to retrieve it, he gets pretty ticked off. When he refuses to let Anna or Rei tag along, Anna decides to astral project, just to keep an eye on the situation. But Taylor in her stupid high heels trips and falls off the edge. And though Seth tries to save her, he couldn't get a firm grip on her. The poor guy freaks out and runs for it, cause his DNA is under her fingernails and her shirt was ripped wide open during the struggle. Anna stays behind to check up on Taylor, and when she makes it back to her body, it isn't there! Not only has a snobby, privilaged skank taken over Anna's body, she's incredibly ticked off that Seth rejected her, and claims to be an eye witness that he murdered Taylor.
Taylor knows Anna is circling, but she's got the upper hand being the one in the body. And since she's determined to make the new husk permanent, she's taken the liberty to pierce it nine times, get a horrible tattoo of Taylor's face on her arm, transition Anna's natural hair and makeup to over-the-top awful, fill her body with tons of liquor, and give her a whole new flashy wardrobe. And if that wasn't bad enough, the skank has no scruples over stealing Anna's first kiss and attempting to throw away her virginity. The only one that knows about Anna's astral projection is her best friend Rei, who by some miracle, is able to see Anna outside her corporeal form; first in dreams, then reality as Anna learns to adapt to her new dimension. Together they try to keep Taylor's behavior in check and prove her accusations false, all while desperately searching for a way to exorcise the skank out of Anna's body. Auracle was actually a really intriguing read. Something different, you know? And I trully hated Taylor with a capitol H-A-T-E. I feel no remorse that this girl died. Sometimes karma just gets it right, cause she is a true terror to others. You really feel for Anna in this novel. And because she's usually invisible, she's a little more privied to private conversations, so she learns a few things about others she didn't know. And when Taylor begins moving in on Rei, a hint of jealosy makes her realize he's become more than just a friend through the years.
Great read peeps. Pick it up.
