19 #SciFi and #Fantasy Favorites Cookbooks

Note: Portions of this post first appeared in the Roswell Daily Record.

It’s that time of the year for me to share my latest finds in cookbooks associated with science fiction, fantasy and paranormal worlds. I love doing this annual post, although it always makes me hungry and in the mood to bake.

I’ve included the Amazon link for the kindle versions but most are available in other forms as well. I just didn’t have time to look up links for other book platforms – sorry!

We’ll start with The Uno...

Why I Wrote TALINN #SciFi Romance Gladiator

VS Note: From the Archives, to celebrate the fact I’ve now added 15K words to TALINN and issued it as a standalone since the anthology is no longer available.

When I had the opportunity to join the CLAIMED AMONG THE STARS anthology lineup, I knew the basic premise for all the stories was to be about a woman on an interstellar cruise ship who ends up on an alien planet and falls in love. Happy ever after ending of course!  I thought it would be fun to write my third scifi romance gladiator novel ...

Favorite Scene Friday The Crocodile God Requires from MAGIC OF THE NILE

One in a continuing series of occasional posts talking about a personal favorite scene from each of my books. It may not be my most favorite scene, since that would probably involve spoilers, but I thought it might be fun.

Cover by Frauke of Croco Designs

The next book of mine, going in fairly chronological order, was MAGIC OF THE NILE. I put a lot of myself into Tyema, the heroine, in terms of the way she suffers from anxiety and what she does about it. They were aware of the problem in ancient...

25+ Recent SciFi Romance/Fantasy/Paranormal (and more) Anthologies For Your Consideration

I love anthologies – such a fun way to sample new-to-me authors and find new favorites. There are anthologies in all genres coming out year round of course, but I find Fall brings on a flood of new ones. I do report anthologies every week in my New Releases reports (here’s the latest if you missed it) but I thought it might make for a good standalone post to highlight some interesting ones from the past month or so. Not all are romance but I’ve stayed in my science fiction/fantasy/paranormal lan...
