AUDIOBOOKS: I was asked to try something new, and to indicate if these are available as audiobooks. I’m putting AB at the end of the buy links to indicate Audiobook if there is one and the buy link goes to Amazon but I don’t have time to chase down and list the other platforms’ audiobook buy links. As is well known by now, I loved the old “sword and sandal” movies like ‘Demetrius and the Gladiators’ and any version of ‘The Last Days of Pompeii’, as well as more modern works like Starz’s ‘Spartacus’ series.
