Franschhoek Literary Festival: Are There Boundaries To Your Imagination?
It's kinda sad that I've been writing (officially) for four and a half years and I've never been to a literary festival. But today I set out to change that! I headed off to Franschhoek, the small but beautiful town about an hour away from Cape Town. A place filled with mainly art and food -- and, this weekend, a ton of literary-minded people.
Earlier in the week, I spoke at two schools as part of the FLF Book Week for Young Readers, but from today through till Sunday, the "proper" part of the...

Freak out! Public speaki...

A New FREE Release from Author Rachel Morgan: FORGIVEN (A TROUBLE NOVELLA)

To give you a taste of what's coming, the series kicks off today with the release of a prequel novella, FORGIVEN. It's slightly more serious than the novels to come, but there are some humorous moments :-) And because I am...

Here comes TROUBLE ...
It's been a while since I published something. About five months, actually (which to some writers isn't long at all, while others could have published two or three books in that time!). So you're probably wondering what's coming next from me, especially now that the Creepy Hollow series is over. Sort of. (Whaaat? And all the Creepy Hollow fans sit up and take note. Double Spotlight: The Awesomely Fun DEGENERATE DICTIONARY & The Contemporary Romance Novel FLESH AND BONE
I recently came across the Degenerate Dictionary by Jessica Bell on Facebook, and couldn't help visiting the page and scrolling through all the entries already posted. I think it's FANTASTIC fun and an awesome idea! It reminds me of a game my parents used to play with their friends when I was little (Balderdash, a game which used words hardly anyone had ever heard of!).
Here's what Jessica has to say about this fabulously fun initiative:
