Since I have a college daughter in Mobile, when I saw this, I laughed hard. Being from South Dakota she’s got blizzard preparedness down pat, but hurricane? Not so much.

Vertex is my favorite bar in Rapid City – on the roof of the historic Alex Johnson Hotel. Here’s a pic my daughter took of the kickass fire pits up there. I love how the hotel sign reflects in the marble.
