I was recently interviewed by the great people of The Two River Times and had no idea that Zombie Youth was going to claw its way onto the front page. I want to thank Celia Belmonte and Michele Kuhn for their openness to Zombie Youth and for their willingness to run such a flattering article. The link to the article can be found below:

I also want to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to Linda Tripp and the Warren Township Public Library for an awesome night of zombie debate. I loved all of the zombies and monsters that showed up for the event! I have no doubt that the Garden State will prevail in the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

Following the success of Hillsborough’s Teen Zombie Night I have been asked to bring my book and presentation on zombie folklore and survival to the Warren Township Library. I’m looking forward to sharing zombies with a fresh group of bodies…or should that be the other way around? Anyway, if the NJ libraries keep up with these Zombie Nights I have no doubt that the great Garden State will survive the undead apocalypse!

A huge thank you to Diane from the Hillsborough library and everyone who came out for the Hillsborough Zombie Night, especially those that braved a freak hail/thunderstorm in full zombie make-up! I was impressed!

Over the past few weeks I have been tirelessly harassing bloggers and websites alike in order to start generating some reviews for Zombie Youth: Playground Politics and have been fortunate enough to find some really great people out there. A lot has been going on in the Zombie Youth universe lately and I am grateful to all the readers, bloggers, websites and authors that I have had the pleasure of talking to or working with since the book was published in April.

Zombie Youth: Playground Politics managed to sell out at both The Secret Stash and River Road Books and I cannot even begin to thank everyone who has gone there to pick up a copy. The shelves have been restocked, so if anyone missed the book when they went there, please support local businesses (authors too…) and drop in to grab a copy.

Reviews are starting to trickle in for the novel and it has been wonderful to hear what people think of it. I love hearing readers’ reactions to the book, so if you’ve read it please leave a line here or drop by Amazon and post a review.

Finally, I will be shambling my way into the Hillsborough Library next Wednesday to speak at their Zombie Teen Night event (how cool is that?) and speaking about zombie folklore/history, survival tactics and of course my book. A huge thank you to the good people there for allowing me to be part of this awesome event!

Other than that…there’s a few other things going on, but I’ll post those as they become more solid.

Zombie Youth: Playground Politics has been released in paperback on Amazon.com! It is selling for $13.50 and is 350 pages. Happy reading!

Severed Press (www.severedpress.com) has recently picked up Playground Politics. It will be the first novel in a new series entitled Zombie Youth. Check out the Kindle edition on Amazon. Paperback copies will be released soon!
