Abandoned in Death Teasers

I apologize for the delayed teasers this go round. Life has been spinning fast for me since December 1, culminating in hip surgery 5 days ago. To make it up to you, I offer a bunch of teasers in one shot. As always, these are little Easter eggs (to borrow a film term) you’ll find … Continue reading Abandoned in Death Teasers →

It’s never too early to plan summer reading, is it? To whet your appetite a little, I’m pleased to present the excerpt from Nora’s summer book Nightwork, out May 24. Ghosts again

It’s recently come to my attention that several fraudulent websites offering–for a whopping fee–ghostwriting services have me listed as a client. This is bullshit, and it’s infuriating. These sites–and I won’t link to them or name them as that could increase their traffic, and that’s their goal–list many books they claim their ghostwriters have written. … Continue reading Ghosts again →

New Year, New Page

A quiet, family New Year’s around here, and again no big open house with friends and family. Hopefully next year things will be safe enough for a gathering. We did go away for a week—rented a house again to be safe—and stayed in. It’s lovely to spend that kind of time with family, and just … Continue reading New Year, New Page →

The Busy Season

It sure has been around here. But happy busy with shopping, wrapping, decorating, baking. We do the works! Pies, Turkey, All The Fixings and Family. October Busy

It feels a little odd to be busy with activities besides work and domestic tasks these days, but October opened up for it with a long-delayed trip to NYC. We were able to schedule it around Kayla’s fall break from college, so I had my oldest and my youngest grandchild on the trip. We limo’d … Continue reading October Busy →
