I Stand Before You Cover Reveal
Well, here is is...the cover for I Stand Before You
Expected release date: September 2013
Synopsis/blurb:
When it comes to tattooed bad boys, Chase Gartner is the real deal. Partying, engaging in meaningless sex, getting into fights---Chase indulges in it all during his late teen years, thus firmly solidifying his status as a heartbreakingly gorgeous but way-too-dangerous-to-trust guy in his hometown of Harmony Creek, Ohio. Then, following one fateful night of reckless decisions, Chase's actions finally catch up to him and land him in prison.
Now, four years have passed and Chase finds himself a free man. He returns to Harmony Creek, ready to pick up the pieces and start rebuilding his shattered life.
Things are off to a promising start when he meets Kay Stanton, a young woman with a tragic past of her own. Despite a powerful attraction, Chase and Kay are naturally hesitant to become involved. That's why friendship feels like the safest option. But when passions ignite and love blossoms, a relationship that is destined and meant to be can only be resisted for so long. When Chase and Kay finally succumb to their feelings they realize being together feels more right and true than anything they have ever experienced.
But their love is soon tested. Chase's wild past still haunts and tempts him, and Kay is keeping a secret that could tear them apart.
I Stand Before You is a journey of hope and forgiveness, coming to terms with the past and moving forward. But mostly it's a story of two damaged people who take a chance, open their hearts, and find true love.
New Adult/Contemporary Romance genres. First in a series.
***warning: contains graphic sexual situations, drug use, some violence, and profanity**
*******************
Thank you to Damonza for a beautiful cover, to AToMR Tours for an amazing cover reveal day, and most especially to all the wonderful blogs who participated in the cover reveal. I am honored and humbled by the great response.

I Stand Before You TEASER
Just a small sample from Kay's point-of-view. The story will have two POVs---Chase's and Kay's.
I Stand Before You is slated for a September release.
(unedited and subject to change)
Chase lifts his head and searches my eyes. "How can you say that, sweet girl? Being with me will never be easy. I meant it when I said I am broken. You make me feel more whole than I ever have, but there will always be something missing. I'll always be trouble, Kay."
My hands are still on his back, still under his tee, and I now touch everywhere--the inked angel, the wings, the falling feathers. "Then be my trouble," I whisper as I touch and touch and stare into blue depths.

Author Interviews from Blog Tour
During last month's Harbour Falls Blog Tour I had the chance to participate in two author interviews. In case you missed them, here they are:
Interview #1 at Musings From An Addicted Reader (Thank you, Em!!!)
Interview:
What is your quirk when writing?
Hmmm... I don't really have any major quirks, but I do always have to write at the same laptop. It's an older one, but the creative juices just flow when I'm pecking away at the keys.
What motivated to become a writer?
I loved writing from the time I was a kid, but I didn't have the courage to share my words with the world until more recently. I have all these stories in my head and it feels great to bring them to life on paper.
Did you draw inspiration for Harbour Falls from an event, music, etc?
I did actually! The setting--an isolated, foggy island--came to me after watching Shutter Island on dvd. And the mystery part of Harbour Falls came into play when I read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I loved the idea that the key to a mystery could hinge on a single photograph.
Rapid-Fire Questions:
Ice cream...chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate
Movies or books? Books!!!

Interview #2 at Simply Infatuated
If Harbour Falls became a movie, who would you cast as Maddy and Adam?
Ooh, great question! For Maddy I would cast Jennifer Lawrence. I think she’d be perfect for the role. Adam is a bit tougher. There’s a picture out there of a male model holding a puppy. I don’t know his name, but my friends and I agree he would make an absolutely perfect Adam. Until I can figure out who model-with-a-puppy is though—and if he even acts for that matter—I think Ian Somerhalder, with his black hair and blue eyes, would be a superb Adam.
The story takes place in Maine. Have you ever been there or did you develop the setting through research?
I’ve been to Maine a couple of times. A few years ago I vacationed in Bar Harbor. One afternoon we traveled up route 1 to Lubec, Maine and into New Brunswick, Canada. I remember lots of fog and plenty of rain, the perfect setting for Harbour Falls.
When did you develop the title Harbour Falls–before, during, or after–writing the novel?
I tried out a bunch of different titles, and one day I was like: Hey, Harbour Falls… I like the sound of that one best!
Why did you choose to write a Mystery/Romance novel?
Well I always intended on the story being a romance, but the mystery part was inspired by the movie Shutter Island and the book The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The movie inspired the setting, a mysterious, foggy island. As for the book, I loved the idea of a photograph being the key to unraveling the mystery.
Will all of the books in the trilogy follow Maddy or will the main character switch with each novel?
All three will be told from Maddy’s point-of-view.
What POV do you prefer to write in? Why?
First person, for sure. I think it’s the best point-of-view to really throw the reader into the action.
How do you deal with writer’s block?
Go to a mysterious island—like Maddy does in Harbour Falls—and find a hot guy. No, no. I’m just kidding.
I try to take a few days break or write something else for awhile. Just to mix things up.
Both ways sounds good to me Do you have a method for developing your characters or do you let them develop as you write?
I always kind of have an idea of who my characters are, but I sometimes end up surprised by some of the things they do as I write about them. It’s true that they take on a life of their own.
Who is your favorite author? Is your writing style similar?
I love just about anything written by Stephen King, but I also love Janet Fitch. I think her writing style has probably influenced me greatly.
What kind of music do you like?
Rock, pop, alternative—those would be the top three. But I like a mix of almost everything. I’m currently addicted to Song Pop app on my phone. Lol

Willow Point Book Blurb/Summary
Happy February everyone! Is it as cold and snowy wherever you are as it is here?? Brrr...
If you haven't already noticed I posted the official summary/blurb for Willow Point, the second book of A Harbour Falls Mystery series.
Here it is:
***Expected publication: late April/early May 2013***
With the Harbour Falls Mystery solved, author Maddy Fitch hopes secrets and lies are behind her. But a cryptic letter from her former best friend would seem to indicate otherwise. Is the man Maddy fell in love with while solving the Harbour Falls Mystery, the gorgeous and rich Adam Ward, keeping a damning and potentially dangerous secret from her? Only the writer of the letter, Ami Hensley, knows for sure. But Maddy is hesitant to confront her, since the last time they saw one another Ami tried to kill her.
But if Maddy wants answers--ones that could potentially save Adam--then she must face her fears and visit her former friend. Unfortunately for Maddy, Ami is currently locked up in the creepiest place she knows, an old gothic structure that houses the criminally insane, known simply as Willow Point.
Will this new mystery tear Maddy and Adam apart?
Who else is in on Adam's secret?
And will Maddy find the answers before it's too late?
Another heart-stopping page turner from the author of Harbour Falls. Willow Point promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.
2nd in A Harbour Falls Mystery series. Romance/Mystery genres
************
Hope it sounds interesting enough for you to consider adding it to your TBR list. Thank you!
