The Clockwork Mechanicals, New Children's Book by Peter R Stone

For starters, he's lost his memory. He can't even remember his own name. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he's stranded on a space station. A space station that’s going to crash into the earth in less than one hour and kill millions of people.
That means Brad’s got less than an hour to disable the space station’s force field so that it burns up when it enters the earth’s atmosphere. The only catch is that a terrible Clockwork Mechanical – the living machine that is behind the diabolical plan to destroy the world – is out to get him.
Actually, there's another problem. What happens to Brad if he manages to turn off the force field and the space station burns up on re-entry?
Join Brad on his frantic quest to disable the space station's force field generator and save the world. See him team up with some unlikely companions as he tries to outsmart the Clockwork Mechanical.
Reviews Needed
Dear Subscribers, I am hoping to land a few reviews on The Clockwork Mechanicals on Amazon.
On that score, I'd be delighted if you could either review it on Amazon for me, or, read it to a child aged between 8 and 11, and publish their review via your Amazon account?
The book is only 90 pages but has received very positive feedback from those who have read it. It is currently .99c for a limited time.
Thanks :)

A Travellers Guide to Forager's Newhome by Peter R Stone:
Travellers Guide to Newhome
Welcome to Newhome, a town complete with modern facilities and comprehensive services, situated directly north-west of the ruins of Melbourne’s Central Business District. Below are some tips to help you enjoy your stay with us.
Be Prepared for an Extended Stay
You are not permitted to leave the town for any reason.* This is for your own wellbeing, because it's not safe out there. Skel roam the ruins night and day, and we don't want you bumping into one of them, do we.
* Unless you’re a town sanctioned forager. And if you are, we wish you luck. You're going to need it, too. For if you’re caught by the Skel - well, let's just say we won't be making any rescue missions.
Observe the Town's Quaint Customs
Newhome boasts a unique culture which recognises the diverse roles played by males and females in a modern society. If you are female, note that young women are not permitted outside without a suitable chaperone. Furthermore, women may not speak without permission, are barred from school, and may not enter the workforce. If you are male, take care that you're never alone with an unmarried woman apart from a member of your family, for sexual misconduct is dealt with severely. The moral fabric of society must be upheld. Please also note that only authorised books may be read. This is for your protection. We don't want any subversive ideas popping into your heads, now do we?
Report Any Mutants
All mutations must be reported to the Custodians immediately. We all know the importance of keeping the human race pure, don't we?
Respect the Law
The Custodians are here for your protection. Ignore malicious rumours claiming they abuse their authority. These rumours are baseless slander. If you hear someone spreading such slander, report them to the nearest Custodian immediately.
All Citizens are Equal
All citizens in Newhome are equal enjoy equal rights. However, some citizens have more to contribute to society than others, and if they're lucky, they may win the right to move into Newhome's exclusive North End district.

Expatriate, Forager Book Three, Now Available
I am delighted to announce that the third and final installment in the exciting post apocalyptic FORAGER Trilogy - EXPATRIATE - is now available on Amazon Kindle.
Click Here to Purchase on Kindle
The Thrilling Conclusion to the Forager Trilogy
Eighteen-year-old Ethan Jones, Nanako, and the other foragers have fled Newhome after being accused of being terrorists.
However, with Captain Smithson's parting words of "Don't forget us," ringing in their minds, they realise the only way to save Newhome from the Hamamachi Rangers and their Skel allies is to document and expose the Rangers' villainy.
Yet what sounds like a workable plan is nothing of the sort, for they have to journey into the very heart of Skel territory to obtain the information they need.
Leigh's warning that "nothing ever goes as you want or plan it to," turns out to be prophetic. An assassin, a botched raid, and the Skel and Rangers stopping at nothing to prevent them from revealing the Rangers' activities all complicate matters.
To add to their woes, a word whispered in Ethan's ear by a new addition to their party brings his world crashing down about his ears. Moreover, should he share this information with Nanako, all her hopes and dreams for the future will be destroyed as well. The question is - how long can he keep such a secret from her?

Expatriate, Book 3 in the Forager Trilogy, Available Soon

Expatriate is currently in the editing & revision stage.
Eighteen-year-old Ethan Jones, Nanako, and the other foragers have been forced to flee Newhome after being accused of being terrorists - a title they partly earned when they blew that massive hole in Newhome's eastern wall.
However, just because they have been exiled from the town does not mean they will abondon it. With Captain Smithson's parting words of "Don't forget us," ringing in their minds, they realise that the only way to save Newhome from the Hamamachi Rangers and their Skel allies is to document and expose the Rangers villainy. Yet what sounds like a workable plan turns out to be nothing of the sort, for to obtain this information they will have to journey into the very heart of Skel territory and risk their very lives in the process.Leigh's warning uttered at the beginning of the venture, that "nothing ever goes as you want or plan it to," turns out to be prophetic, for nothing goes as smoothly as they hoped. An assassin, a botched raid, and the Skel and Rangers stopping at nothing to stop them revealing the Rangers' activities all complicate matters. To add to their woes, a word whispered in Ethan's ear by a new addition to their party brings his world crashing down about his ears. And should he share this information with Nanako, all her hopes and dreams for the future will be destroyed as well, but how long can he keep such a secret from her?

The Last of Us
One of my hobbies is searching online for wallpapers of post apocalyptic ruined cities. Last week I stumbled across images from a game called 'The Last of Us.'
The Last of Us is a third-person Survival-Action game that utilizes choices in gameplay action to develop the game storyline, as well as the relationship between the two main characters, Joel and Ellie, made exclusively for the PS3 system. The game features a combination of combat, exploration, stealth, and platforming game mechanics.
At first I was crushed to see that it was not available on PC (it is only for Playstation 3) but then in seeing that it is 'R' rated in Australia, I realised I wouldn't be playing it anyway. All the same, the images from the game are astounding. See below. I could just imagine the world of Forager looking like this.
