FAKING IT IS OUT!!!! LIKE... OUT OUT. LIKE... YOU CAN BUY IT. AND YOU ARE!!!! AND I LOVE YOU ALL FOR IT!!! 








FAKING IT released today in the US and releases Thursday in the UK. I thought it released today in Canada today, but it appears that it might not release until June 11th there. 
You can buy it at Amazon here or Barnes and Noble here. It's also available on iTunes and Kobo. As we speak it's ranked #11 on iTunes, #16 on B&N, and is getting close to cracking the top 100 on Amazon. The paperback is also doing awesome. And we're just about at 24 hours now! 
But the truly amazing thing about today has been the tremendous amount of support I've had from you all. Between twitter and facebook, I've gotten over a tweets and comments and posts about the book. And so many people have gone out of their way to wish me a happy birthday, too, which just hits me RIGHT IN THE FEELS. I am just so overwhelmed and happy and awed by the love you guys have shown me. 


See? AWED. You guys are AWESOMEPANTS (NOT to be confused with the Pants Dance). 

And as a quick thank you, here's a one of my inspiration pictures for Cade. In my head, I see him a little bit like Darren Criss (first of Very Potter Musical fame, then Glee, and Broadway's How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying)

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH MY LOVELIES!

Less than a day left until FAKING IT goes live. In fact, we can start counting HOURS now! How awesome is that? In case you're out of the loop, and have no idea what I'm talking about. FAKING IT, book 2 in the Losing It Series, follows Cade, our lovable best friend from Book 1. First, check out this cover. *DIES* I'm obsessed with it. And it looks SO pretty in person.


And here's a little bit more about it: 
Mackenzie "Max" Miller has a problem. Her parents have arrived in town for a surprise visit, and if they see her dyed hair, tattoos, and piercings, they just might disown her. Even worse, they’re expecting to meet a nice wholesome boyfriend, not a guy named Mace who has a neck tattoo and plays in a band. All her lies are about to come crashing down around her, but then she meets Cade.

Cade moved to Philadelphia to act and to leave his problems behind in Texas. So far though, he’s kept the problems and had very little opportunity to take the stage. When Max approaches him in a coffee shop with a crazy request to pretend to be her boyfriend, he agrees to play the part. But when Cade plays the role a little too well, they’re forced to keep the ruse going. And the more they fake the relationship, the more real it begins to feel.



I'm so unbelievably excited to share this book with you all. It's a little bit different in feel than LOSING IT, as our heroine and hero aren't quite as awkward as Bliss. But it's still got humor and romance and some angst. It's close to my heart, and I hope that you all will love the story of Cade and Max as much as I do. When you've read it, please do tweet or facebook me and tell me your thoughts! And the ever important question... Team Garrick? Or Team Cade?

So.... I've been hinting FOREVER at some SECRET news.


Some EXCITING news. 

And now the time has come to share that news! So.... without further ado.... 

(Okay... maybe a little ado)
This little pretty just posted to Publisher's Marketplace: 
NYT and USA TODAY bestselling author, Cora Carmack's novella KEEPING HER, from the perspective of the hero in LOSING IT and his attempts to maintain his happily ever after, again to Amanda Bergeron at William Morrow, in a two-book deal, for publication fall 2013 and winter 2014, bySuzie Townsend at New Leaf Literary & Media.

Did you guys catch that? From the point of view of the hero of LOSING IT? Otherwise known as GARRICK!



YEP. There will be a novella entitled KEEPING HER (which is already available for pre-order) releasing August 13th from Garrick's POV, and it's set after the events of LOSING IT. So, for all those out there asking for a sequel... I was listening! And here it is!

We don't have the official copy for the novella yet, but I'll give you a quick hint! This book takes place after the epilogue of LOSING IT and involves a little visit to London! :D

For those unfamiliar with the lingo... a novella is a shorter work of fiction that's longer than a short story, but not quite as long as a novel. KEEPING HER will be available in ebook format only for $1.99.

And I might point out that this deal is for TWO novellas. The other will be from the point of view of Jackson Hunt, the hero of FINDING IT (who I am OBSESSED with). Go here if you missed my earlier post with details about him and FINDING IT.

Thanks for being patient while I kept this secret! But now the news is out. And between this and my other recent Garrick news, you guys should be able to keep your hot Brit addictions fed for a little while.
