When someone compares their book to The Hunger Games, Twilight, Harry Potter, The Bible, or some other ridiculously successful book.

When you say something particularly funny on Twitter.

When you tell a non-bookish person about a plot you've been working on for months and they spend half an hour explaining all the other directions your story should go instead because they are "your readership" and they know best.

When someone drops a lot of really fancy marketing phrases and you try to be all cool like yeah, you totally do those things to, when in reality you're like:
