Bedding the Dragon is here!
When Karla’s ex-boyfriend is carried off by an enemy dragon, she needs the help of Taurian, her would be dragon lover, to rescue him.
Taurian is more than happy to help, but he knows he isn’t strong enough to take on the other dragon without completing the Mesmer ritual—which means sleeping with Karla.
How far is Karla willing to go, when she’s not sure if the attraction between her and Taurian is real, or simply a function of the magical bond they share?
Bedding the Dragon is part 3 (19,000 words) in a new paranormal romance serial set in a small outback town in modern day Australia. Part 4 is coming soon!

Dressing the Dragon is out!
The next part in my dragon shifter serial is out now.
Karla’s completely out of her depth, and has no idea how to handle Taurian. Getting clothes to cover his half-naked body is supposed to make her more comfortable—but how comfortable can you really be with an attractive dragon shifter? Especially when you’re both being pursued through the city by his ancient, and deadly, rival.
Taurian could handle his enemy easily—if only his healing sleep hadn’t left him weak and dependent on the human woman. To regain his strength quickly he needs to mate with her, but she resists him at every turn. Convincing her to heal him with her body is vital… and irresistible.
Keeping their hands to themselves is a challenge equal to the ancient one they face, especially since it could solve everything.
Or complicate everything in ways neither could have predicted.
It’s available on Amazon for 99c, or free in Kindle Unlimited! Grab your copy now.

Doing something makes you want to do more
I had a pretty busy day today. I put together a (premade) shade house, planted a plot of corn, watermelons and zucchinis, planted out 8 trees, cleaned out the duck pond, added a couple of wheelbarrows of mulch around it, planted out 5 trays of seeds, put up some shadecloth to shade some plants, and went shopping (and bought more plants, seeing a theme here?).
I would have thought that after such a busy day, I’d be ready for an evening of sitting down and relaxing, and doing nothing. And yet, I’m not. I feel energised from the achievement of the day, and feel like I can do anything. I’m ready to sit down and write now for a few hours, then get up tomorrow morning and do it all again. I didn’t expect that.
And yet, I shouldn’t have been surprised. I’ve observed before that the more I do something, the easier it is to do more. When I write, I want to write more. When I garden, I want to garden more. And even when I clean my house, I want to clean it more.
And when I sit and play computer games and mindlessly surf the internet, I want to do it more too.
So I think my plan is clear. Do the things I want to get done, so that I want to do them more.
Now to just put this plan into action!

It’s Nearly Here!
I’m so excited to share the cover for Part 1 of Dragon Ruins, Waking the Dragon! I’ve been working on this serial for a while now, and it’s really exciting to have the first part so close to complete. If you’re impatient, it’s available for preorder on Amazon right now. The release date is set at the 31st of August, but I hope to have it ready long before that.
When his centuries long slumber ends abruptly, dragon prince Taurian finds himself in a whole new world. Now, pursued by an ancient enemy, his survival depends on the human woman whose presence had awoken him.
Karla is irresistibly drawn to the half-naked man she discovered in an ancient chamber. But when he starts claiming to be a dragon, she’s sure he’s crazy. The sensible thing to do would be to drop him off at the nearest police station.
But she soon finds out that dealing with dragons is never that simple.
Waking the Dragon is part 1 (16,000 words) in a new paranormal romance serial set in a small outback town in modern day Australia. Part two is coming soon!
If you haven’t read a serial before, it’s kind of like a TV series in book form. Each part is shorter (Around 15,000 words or 50 pages), and adds to the storyline. Dragon Ruins will be 6 parts, and I’m hoping to release one a month. If you want to know when each part comes out, remember to sign up to my mailing list!

If Wishes were Fishes
The two trolls in Troll Curse, Jasyn and Kriss, had a bit of a history. I mention this briefly in Troll Curse, but when a friend of mine was looking for stories for a Troll Anthology, I took the opportunity to write out their meeting in more detail. Today I’m sharing an excerpt from their story, If Wishes were Fishes.
Kriss lay along the tree branch on her stomach, hidden from the view of anyone walking below. Through the leaves, though, she had a clear view of the path as it snaked down to the woods. Her stomach growled, but luckily there was no one nearby to hear it. Even so, it caused her to frown in anger. Damn Orlis for taking her breakfast that morning! It was his fault she had to spend her day out in the woods, hoping a returning hunter would come along with some game she could steal.
She twirled one of her dark braids around her thick green finger, and tried not to think about the fact that in two days she’d leave behind the childish double braids for a more adult twenty. She didn’t feel like an adult. Adults had enough to eat, and swords to defend their food. They didn’t have to put up with big brothers stealing it.
Movement at the edge of the forest caught her eye. The troll lurking there wasn’t a warrior returning from the hunt, though. It was just Jasyn. He might have twenty braids, but he was still a weakling. With his thin, puny frame he looked more like a human than a troll. Even Kriss could beat him in a fight if she could be bothered.
Before emerging from the woods, he stared out at the empty path for a long time. Just as Kriss was beginning to think he was going to stay there all day, he ventured out. Once he left the trees, he scurried along quickly.
Kriss’s teeth bared in a snarl. Jasyn was such a scaredy mouse. It wasn’t like he had anything to hide…
Ohh, the sneaky little troll. He was hiding something under the fur he clutched around his shoulders. But as he passed under her hiding place, she could see it sticking out the back. Fish!
He’d been fishing. And quite successfully too. There were at least two tails sticking out, and possibly more hidden.
It was her lucky day. Jasyn spent his time hanging around the edge of the mages circle, and was always being beaten in the sword training. She could take him easily.
So why was she hesitating? Why was she still here sitting in a tree while he walked past her?
It wasn’t like she cared that his mother and sister were home hungry. She was hungry too. Like they were any more deserving of eating than she was.
You can read the rest of the story, and find out who ends up with the fish, in “For Whom the Bell Trolls: Tales of Terror, Triumph & Trolls” for just $3.99. All proceeds go to the Equality Now Global Women’s Movement.
