Steve Martin gave a talk at Princeton University, titled "Stand Up: My Rise and Collapse," on December 8 about his career. The talk was the annual Spencer Trask Lecture. Read more about it at princeton.edu.

GRAMMY ALERT: Steve Martin And The Steep Canyon Rangers were nominated for a Grammy award for "Best Bluegrass Album" for their work "RARE BIRD ALERT." 

Congratulations to fellow Bluegrass nominees:Alison Krauss & Union Station,  Jim Lauderdale, The Del McCoury Band, Ralph Stanley and Chris Thile.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on February 12, 2012 at 8/7c on CBS.
