B MacGregor is the fourth son of five boys. Born and raised in Iowa, he was influenced by his father, a community college administrator and counselor, in his pursuit of academics, and his mother, a librarian, in his pursuit of story-telling.
Upon receiving his doctorate degree in Sociology at Iowa State University in the early 1990’s, he enjoyed teaching at universities and colleges for several years. During his tenure as a professor, his research included several pieces of authorship, ranging from his dissertation to numerous scientific articles printed in prominent sociological and psychological journals.
