Release Day for Not Always Happenstance!!!

This is a happy, happy day for me! This Power of the Matchmaker project has been years in the making, and this book was so very fun to write. I got to experiment with some magical realism and write about one of my favorite places on the planet--Maui. I hope you enjoy this book, along with all the others from the matchmaker series, because they're wonderful.

May you all have a fabulous February!

From the Power of the Matchmaker series:
Lani has lived in Hana, Hawaii for five years. She's learned to surf, fish, dive, and manage her grandmother's bed and breakfast. She's also learned to take one day at a time the way it should be taken—relaxed and unrushed, savoring every moment.

But, like a large wave on the brink of breaking, her life is about to crash out of control. A proposal of marriage, a conniving grandmother, a cryptic Asian woman, and a handsome guest, and suddenly everything calm begins to churn, everything clear becomes confused, and all that was normal segues into peculiar.

As Lani struggles against the current to hold her ground, she realizes that she can either continue to fight and eventually lose, or take a take a leap of faith, hold her breath, and ride the wave wherever it takes her.
What people are saying:
Loved it! A great escape and like always a lovely story that drew me in and wouldn't let go until the very end. Highly recommend! —Kathy, Goodreads.com

A very quick and beautiful read that made me want to move here and live among the locals. —Maureen, Goodreads.com

Cover Reveal - The Fall of Lord Drayson (coming summer 2016)

It'll still be fun! It'll still be clean
And It'll still be a romance! But this time it'll be a fun and clean,
REGENCY romance!
 I hope you enjoy!!!

The Fall of Lord Drayson (coming late-summer 2016)
Who is he really? A high and mighty lord or a lowly servant?
When Colin Cavendish, the new earl of Drayson, informs Lucy Beresford that she and her mother have two months to vacate the house they've called home for the past two years, Lucy is fit to be tied. They have no money, no relations they can turn to for help, and nowhere to go. How dare the earl break the promise his father had made to the Beresfords without so much as a twinge of conscience?
Mere hours later, Lucy discovers the earl unconscious and injured in the middle of the road. Grudgingly, she takes him into her home to tend to his wounds, but when he awakens with no recollection of who he is, Lucy seizes the opportunity to teach a much-needed lesson in humility. Pushing her own twinge of conscience aside, she informs the earl of Drayson that he is nothing more than a mere servant. Her servant, in fact.
And thus begins the charming tale of a pompous lord and an impetuous young woman, caught together in a web so tangled that it begs the question: Will they ever get out?

BROKEN THINGS TO MEND by Karey White (A Power of the Matchmaker Novel) is Now Available!

I'm so excited to announce that the first full-length novel in the Power of the Matchmaker series is officially available! And what a fabulous book it is--the perfect kickoff to a really fun series. Karey White is one of my favorite authors, and I hope you all enjoy this story and characters as much as I did.

Celia is in desperate need of a change--a change of scenery, a change of pace, and a complete redo of all relationships. Not knowing what else to do, she opens a map, closes her eyes, and lets fate decide her future. Then she packs her meager belongings and buys a one-way ticket to a little town on the fringes of Oregon's Deschutes National Forest called Sisters. She's wanted a family for years. Will she find one in Sisters?

What Celia doesn't plan to find is a strange Chinese woman whose meddling ways keep throwing her in the path of a handsome, but reserved, forest ranger. But no matter how kind or dependable Silas seems to be, there are some things in Celia's past that neither of them can escape, and this time, the damage might be too much to mend.
What people are saying:"Once I picked up Broken Thing To Mend, I was gone. From the first to the last page this one was a page-turner for me." - Maureen
"I think this is White's best work yet. I couldn't put it down. Loved it!" - Anne

Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity--Now Available!

Considering the idea and cover for this book was conceived about two years ago, it has felt like a long time coming. But I'm thrilled to announce that it's finally HERE. This series has been really fun to create and write, so thanks for sticking around! I hope you enjoy!
Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity
Home for the summer, Samantha Kinsey is ready to step into her role as pseudo-nanny for her two favorite charges. But when she realizes she'll be playing chauffeur more than playmate, her summer outlook quickly turns from fun to bleak. That is, until she meets Colton McCoy—a genuine, hard-working cowboy, who's as set in his ways as he is handsome. Although he claims he doesn't need any spontaneity in his life, Sam’s determined to help him find it. But she'll soon discover that cowboys are about as easy to change as wild mustangs.

Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity is about an adaptable girl and a not so adaptable guy. It’s about learning to accept people for who they are and realizing that sometimes who they are is exactly who they should be.

Rough Around the Edges Meets Refined is HERE

Three things:

First, I'm so excited that book 2 in the Meet Your Match series is finally here! I owe so many people a huge debt of gratitude for being willing to listen to me talk through the plot and help me work so many things out. During this Christmas season, I'm feeling very grateful for good friends, understanding children, and a wonderful, supportive husband. Bless you all. This book has been made better because of them.

About Rough Around the Edges Meets Refined
For Noah Mackie, life is finally back on track. He has a great support system, a promised promotion is on its way, and he’s finally getting the hang of this single father thing. But when the job falls through and his neighbor’s matchmaking efforts become more aggressive, Noah is in for yet another unwanted detour. With his career and two spirited daughters to worry about, he doesn’t have time for dating—especially not someone like Cassie Ellis, his girls’ beautiful and sophisticated dance instructor, who is about as open and approachable as a brick wall.

Rough around the Edges Meets Refined is about two people who think they know exactly what they want but who have no idea what they really need. It’s about learning that people aren’t always what they seem and that sometimes life’s detours take you exactly where you need to go.

Now available on Amazon in both ebook and paperback. **The audiobook will be available in February.**

If you're interested in following the blog tour the amazing Kathy at I am a Reader has set up for this book, click HERE. Thank you Kathy!!!
Secondly, I'm also happy to announce that the audiobooks for Twist of Fate and Righting a Wrong will also be available in January and February. I'm thrilled with all three of the narrators I'm currently working with to produce the books. Here's hoping all the audiobook listeners will like them as well.
Lastly, I want to thank all of my wonderful readers for your support, encouragement, and good will. I couldn't do this without you. May you all . . .
