Dylan R. Boyd is an attorney as well as an author, practicing primarily criminal defense in southern Maine.

He was born and raised in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, where he attended school and spent summers working in the seasonal tourism industry. He attended the University of Vermont and earned a degree in English before returning to Maine to attend the University of Maine School of Law. During his time in law school, he published an article in the Maine Law Review and served as the journal's Executive Editor.

His debut novel, Blue Lobster, is now available on Amazon.com and at select Maine retailers.

He lives with his wife near Portland and is working on a new crime novel.
