One of my favorite reading challenges from 2024 was a new one for Great Middle Grade Reads. The Read the Rainbow Challenge was all about choosing books by their cover. Finding the right palette? I loved it!

I had so much fun with it, I did multiple versions throughout the year. I think I was on my fifth set.

I chose these books with my BINGO squares in mind, but you’d almost think I picked them for a nice autumnal palette. Is pumpkin spice reads a thing?

Deuce. This week’s chapter has been added to my Galleries of Stone prequel, a serial that lets you see how Aurelius and Ulrica met … and continued to meet, despite her being an uphill girl & him being a dockside boy.
