Joe Plumeri began his business career with Carter Berlind & Weill, the company that would eventually become Citigroup - in 1968, becoming one of the company's senior leaders and serving as CEO of several of its divisions, including Primerica Financial Services and Citigroup North America. In 2000, he was appointed Chairman and CEO of Willis Group, the global insurance broker, leading it through unprecedented growth for over 12 years.

Joe now serves as vice chairman of First Data Corporation and a member of its Board of Directors.
