Connor MacKinnon

Isle of Skye — homeland of the MacKinnon brothers

So, guess what I'm doing?

Before I answer that, let me just say that the ballgame yesterday was wonderful. We sat in the infield box behind the Rockies dugout watching the men, er, game, as the Rox beat the Padres 7-0. Because it was the home opener, there was lots of extra celebration — fireworks, troops from the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard, fighter jets flying overhead. I loved the part where the fighter pilots were introduc...

A bit of catching up...

The walls inside the capitol are made of rose-colored marble. The elevator doors are brass with scenes from Colorado history depicted in the panels.

Didn't Reece and Kara get hot and heavy in an elevator at the State Capitol? Or did they just talk about it? I can't remember.

So sorry to be MIA. It's been a crazy week.

It started Monday with word that a friend of mine had been found dead in his home. I turns out he killed himself. So that's been hard to deal with.

I got the lawyerized version of...

M is for Monday and... Man-Titty

Are words really necessary? I doubt any of you will even see the words on this page, not with such a-MA-zing male anatomy on display. Let me give props to Tracy from Goodreads who found this for me and e-mailed it over.

I am in love.

His name, I'm told, is Jed Hill. And I wish my name were Mrs. Jed Hill. I would gladly have 12 kids with this man — or at least try.

I've got a weakness for men with strong obliques, perhaps because my first lover was an Olympic-caliber gymnast (he was on his countr...

Happy spring!

A holiday dedicated to the consumption of chocolate... What could be better than that?

I wish those of you who celebrate it a Happy Easter! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with good food and family.

Tomorrow...

Eye candy instead of candy when we indulge in Week II of MTM

I-Team playlists for your iPod

I am a music fanatic. I've always been that way. Even back when I was 4 years old, music playing on the stereo would make me jump out of the tub and run, wet and naked, on fast little feet out to the living room to dance. My parents probably thought there was something developmentally wrong with me.

In school, I was in choir, marching band and concert band. Plus, I listened to music non-stop at home. When the Walkman came out, it became my constant companion. No need to tell you that I'm an iP...

Naked Edge odds and ends

No, Man-Titty Monday has not been extended. Today is Tuesday, and so today we set the man-chest aside and get on with other things, important things, things of consequence.

I've had readers ask me if I have any specific images in mind when I write. Most often they're referring to characters when they ask that question. And I do try to piece together images that evoke my characters, particularly the heroes.

The image above is a favorite of mine. I love it. The model isn't really roc...

Welcome to Man-Titty Monday!

You have no idea how difficult it was to prepare for today's blog. It is the first ever Man-Titty Monday, an attempt to provide working women with a reason to look forward to the first day of the workweek — or at least give them a source of pleasure on a day that is usually anything but pleasurable.

In order to launch this new event, I had to sort through folder after folder of nude and shirtless guys on my computer to find just the right image. It was such hard work! Staring at all those musc...

Man-titty and gardening

First, the man-titty. I feel better now. How about you?

I'm busy writing this weekend — I threw out everything I had for Natalie's story and went in a completely different direction — but I thought I could share this with you. It's a bit of inspiration for the day. My muse and I both say, "Yummy!"

So what is this new direction, you ask? I don't think I'm going to say anything yet, except that Zach MacBride is still a deputy U.S. Marshal and the story still begins in Cd. Juárez, Mexico, with Nat...

Answers, news and videotape

Navajo National Monument at sunset
First the news:

Heaven Can't Wait is now available on Kindle for real. There was some kind of glitch that told readers it wasn't available in the United States, but that has been resolved. If you don't have an e-reader, it is available in some formats that enable you to just read it on your computer.

Surrender is now available in Japanese. The title translates to something like, "Kissing the Warrior in the Kilt." So we're not the only ones obsessed with Scotti...

Get me to the powwow — frybread recipe

"Get me to the powwow."

That's a line that always draws chuckles from my friends when we watch Dreamkeeper, a wonderful family film about Native legends and the preservation of Native culture. I recommended the DVD a couple months back both for adults and for kids. It's perhaps the best film I've ever seen about the need to preserve Native stories and culture, bringing to life the legends and history of many Indian nations as a grandfather attempts to help his troubled teenage grandson.

Grandfa...
