LOVE IS A ROGUE is the “book of my heart” because it features a handsome rogue of a carpenter and a bookish lady who spends most of her time in a library. I like to call this book “gender-reversed Beauty and the Beast meets HGTV.” I have a soft spot for carpenters since my grandfather, father, brother, and my husband are all builders. In fact, parts of the book are based on my real-life experience fixing up a Victorian farmhouse with my husband (that’s how I met him!) in Portland, Oregon.
It was so much fun to write a “renovation romance” where the hero and heroine fall in love while swinging sledgehammers, prying up floorboards, and getting dirty…quite literally. Ford and Beatrice build a lasting love and I truly hope you enjoy their story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
