Well said, Terence. I agree 100%. I never had an interest in Japanese culture, so I didn't read Shogun until just a few years ago (I'm 51). I loved the book.

Good for you Kevin. Depending on your memory for books you have read, in a couple of years read it again. You'll be surprised how much more is in the book that you may have missed first read. Cheers
