No, you came through perfectly. I completely agree. That is the scary portion of this book. How easily power and control can be obtained through manipulated. Twisting words, changing history, rewriting important documents. All of that has always been methods of obtaining power and control over people. I believe in being well informed, (knowing about history and not trusting just one side), in addition to writing down your own thoughts and memories (I forget things sometimes, so I write them down) cuts back on the likelihood of political figures convincing me of lies (or more accurately, manipulated information). Though the actions of the pigs in this book are reminiscent of the actions of those in power throughout history. Something to really think about.
